I would like to think he was trying some psychology on his fellow managers by appearing to be totally predictable so he could surprise them in key games. But, this is giving him far, far too much credit I feel.

Russell Martin shows some tactical flexibility and we look good again. Delighted with the result today, but just underlines how big a missed opportunity the season will have been if we do not win the play-offs.

Sully has to hit the target there
-
Downes off. He has run himself into the ground. So good.

Enjoyable to watch. Of course their goal owes a lot to us being crap at the back, it's nice to see us giving them a lot of trouble.

Compare Daniel Farke's contrition tonight to Russell Martin's delusion.

The worst thing about him, it seemed he had learned. That unbeaten run came after he adjust his principles slightly. We looked more adaptable, even slightly pragmatic and canny. Once the run came to an end, it is almost as though Martin saw that as a chance to double down on his original mantra, start putting players out of position and ignore the compromises to his philosophy that made it f**king work!

Almost a whole year with the squad, and learned nothing. Get rid of him.

3, each more ineffective then the last.
-
We need to do something different in the second half. Which of course, we will. We always get worse in the second half.
-
It's the same weaknesses we have seen for years now. Cannot take our chances, cannot hold onto a lead.

His goal v Coventry in the Cup a few years ago was a class apart. If he is now done, that will be my memory of him. Hope his can recover from this horrible injury, no player deserves to be 'retired' like that.

I've never seen him play. I've never seen a team from Lig 2 play. I have never seen a domestic Turkish game. But i'm still saying no.

All day long this.

How very unlike us. Well played.
-
Saving Flynn I would say, he is really important and we cannot throw away a 3 goal lead..... right? (Rocking back and forth thinking about Leeds 05/06)
-
An acceptable first half. Still expecting a defeat mind.

It ain't Jo......

Hallelujah! Stephens is dropped. Happy with that side.
-
On balance, I think this move worked out for him.
-
That's..... an Arsenal shirt.

He has not been able to address the two issues that saw us relegated last year. We are still defensively fragile (Despite having THB) and cannot reliably take our chances. If he had resolved these, we would be up there with the top three. Yes, there was a club record unbeaten spell which indicated he had cracked it, but he choose to destabilise that by shoe-horning Stevens into the side. It was not broken, no need to fix it. So, a negative review from me. He thinks he is cleverer then he is.

07 24. So, still a little time to wait.

Wanting to stay at step one are you? Actually. I take it back, you wouldn't get past your SCITT year with that attitude.
