Home and taking stock. This game felt weird to me. I wasn't nervous, or worried on the build up. I just felt happy to be at an occasion like this. Public transport was fantastic. Enjoyed a few beers at Waterloo, a just brilliant day of freedom away from the family. Then, at Wembley, we scored......... And then, I felt...... Everything. Now it's real. Now we could actually triumph at Wembley. And we held firm, somehow. Their shot against the bar was a true defining moment , that went in our favour. Then, after 'Forever' (I've never known a stoppage time like that.) The whistle went, we started dancing.... Sweet Pandemonium. We. Are. Premier. League.

Sitting here at Waterloo nursing a pint in the Brewdog pub (Not the main one..... The one opposite platform 8.) Sighing blissfully. That just happened.

Bizarre how some of the trains are totally crammed and others (Just gone through Wimbledon, nice and relaxed in my seat) Are fine. This train was meant to be non stop to Waterloo but it made an alteration and stopped at Basingstoke to ease the burden for the next few trains through.

On the 10.12 from Winchester. Sat next to a lovely couple saying how mad the preceeding few trains were. Yes. Sat.

Fingers crossed this remains the case. I am trying public transport to Wembley for the first time today, will be trying to catch a train from Winchester around quarter to 11. Don't mind standing room only, as long as I can actually get there. Also, what logic do Wembley have in printing tickets so large that they couldn't possibly fit in a wallet without being folded?
