Well, at least the first sentence was reasonably positive. Frankly, the focus on me personally rather then the point of the campaign is a shame. Particularly from people who do want a return to our traditional colours. Am I the right person to front up something along these lines? Probably not in fairness. It has however astounded me that no-one, and I mean, no-one else, despite the moaning and disappointment when the shirt design was released hasn't tried to focus this and make the desire for the stripes to remain to be more visible. It was a hope of mine that based on the obvious numbers that did want this that the campaign would snowball from the initial effort I made, this obviously isn't happening. Regarding the T-Shirt design itself, that was chosen after a vote on a some member submitted designs was held on the Save our stripes facebook page. As was the nominated charity. No-one is forcing people to buy them it was however a logical way of keeping things visible. Do I feel proud? How I feel is irrelevant. This should be about something the majority of fans want. Obviously people don't care. It was evidently a mistake on my part to try.

Is this going to be a Ramirez, or a Mido?.... So far i'm more feeling Mido. Roma striker with both Saints and Spurs interested, very familiar.

Come again? Not sure if you mean that positively or not, but it's very black and white.

Lambert should be Rooney's England partner ahead of Carroll, says MLT

Which explains why #Factless only needs to write in single sentences perfectly. No complex thoughts have occurred down the road in decades. -
If there is any credibility in the prior reports, then it may imply that a decision has already been made. Until a formal announcement is made we will simply have no idea.

Cheers Liam..... just a shame we have to register in order to see it!

Sorry Kraken! No slight intended, just an honest mistake. Your answers have now been added in.

He may only be 33, but no. He's not the man he was at Barcelona. A colleague of mine in Brazil supports Mineiro and he loves him, yet, he is loving life back in Brazil... to move away again would be totally bizarre. He has reinvigorated himself by going home. He can earn millions there and be a hero. It makes no sense for him to leave, especially when he has essentially nothing to prove. And yes: I also would be happy to 'cope' with Osvaldo! haha.

In terms of profile... yes. But in terms of motivation, there is a world of difference.

Just need a pre-match interview with Poch where he is directly asked about the player...... yet he leaves only a wry smile. I do miss Nigel Adkins sometimes.....

You know it!

A subtle difference that Del Piero would still need to be at full tilt in his own homeland. In Australia any decline in ability will mean nothing, just like with Ronaldinho in his native Brazil. can't compare Serie A with the A league.

Creepy.... yet awesome.

Bold words.

"Crowning a long pursuit....." Yes, we've all been there.

It's all in the eyes.

It's so bizarre. We (and most of the premier league) are more ambitious then Arsenal.

He is enjoying being a hero in his home country. With his career winding down why would he leave?

Noble, but hopefully not foolish. If the form dries up the manager's past good deeds mean little.

Have you ever been this excited about a season kick off?
Colinjb replied to chocco boxo's topic in The Saints
I'm as excited now as am I am before any season. That great point where destiny is ours to take. -
Does anyone know a pub in Bournemouth that will have WBA game on please?

Best bet may be to catch a train to Southampton. -
For shame Turkish.

Yes, I would like to actually identify the shirts we wear as being in traditional colours. Don't let my compulsive behaviour fool you! Better to up front about these things from day one rather then have it hidden. Just surprised i'm the only one who actually has tried to make the majority desire to see our kit as stripes more visible.

At least this hasn't erupted into full blown abuse yet! Where's "CB Fry" when you need him.....
