We tried that last April and failed miserably. Yacob and Mulumbu are formidable. We need to be more flexible then simply trying to grind the game out there and leave us exposed in a way that would totally suit them. Shane Long running into that kind of space would be a nightmare.

Can't agree. The full backs will push forward along with the midfield leaving space on their wings. A hoofed clearance into those positions will leave us terribly vulnerable when they counter attack, centre backs trying to cover out in those positions will lack the pace needed to counter their wingers/wide forwards and we would be horribly exposed. It would further emphasise a weakness we showed when playing against them twice last year.

My team: --------------------- Lambert --------------------- Guly -------------------------------------- Puncheon ------------- Morgan --------- Cork ---------------- --------------------- Wanyama --------------------- Clyne ------- Lovren ---------- Yoshida ---- Chambers ----------------------- Boruc ------------------------ Start with Guly, keep tight on the left wing and do not give them the option of a quick ball out there to put us on the back foot. Use Clyne on the overlap to provide an attacking threat, it may not be his prefered side but the game changed against Villa when he played there instead of Fox last sept against Villa in the second half. Chambers deserves his first start and alongside Punch will provide a great attacking threat. The central midfield should be rock solid with Wanyama driving from the back four and Cork/Morgan mopping and pushing up in front of him. Rickie as the lone forward will bring the rest into play whilst also providing his usual threat up front. Once they have been contained and worn down in the first half use Rodriguez, Lallana and Gaston off the bench to take it to them in the second half. Concerns I have: 1. Can we make the most of Wanyama from set pieces? Without Fox in the side this is a weakness, we need a decent set piece taker that can also pull their weight in the first eleven. 2. Is Chambers/Punch going to offer enough defensive solidity down the right? 3. Will the midfield three have the time and space to actively push forward and indeed, ahead of Mulumbu/Yacob? They are critical to our success.

Better defensive cover? He is much better at tracking back then Adam/Punch and Danny Fox will need all the help he can get. Stoke away last year springs to mind. He was immense that day ( Until his open goal miss that turned the game, he was shot after that.)

Nope. None of my exes have been Saints fans. Although one established herself as a fan thanks to my influence after we parted ways.

What's The Strangest Email You Have Recieved
Colinjb replied to John Boy Saint's topic in The Lounge
At a former employer, a colleague had decided to take a bit of a dislike to me and was engaged in e-mail conversation with the guy I sat next to about how much he didn't like me. His dislike was obvious and I had discussed it with the same mutual colleague who had already revealed that this e-mail chain existed and not to worry, he was just being pathetic. One monday morning I open my e-mail inbox to see that in his latest addition he had accidentally sent me the reply. A quick run to the printer saw 8 pages of trail printed and left on his desk with a post-it note attached making it clear that I had come into the conversation's possession. "Much Love, Col x" He resigned the next day. -
Wrong thread. Xx

Girbraltar, should we bring Spanish possessions
Colinjb replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Lounge
Have to say, I have had that thought too, Cueta and Melilla when compared to Gibraltar are not too far away from each other in principle. Just need to find a similar example relating to Argentina/the Falklands now! -
Just the successful ones Neil. And you are not a customer.

Specifically I need help in relation to Maltese and UK property law and how to transfer shared property ownership (Parties A and B each own 50% of a property in the UK and 50% of a property in Malta) to individual ownership (A owns 100% of one, B then owns 100% of the other in exchange.) Also need to know if it is possible to do in the UK with a nominated representative.

Hence the need for a little advice.

There are only so many funds the fans can contribute to.

Vydra has signed for West Brom on the season long loan basis. http://www.wba.co.uk/news/article/baggies-seal-vydra-swoop-988625.aspx An Anelka/Vydra partnership for the first game of the season I wonder?
-
Could be why it was rejected then?

In terms of money, how do the kit 'partnership' deals work at this level? Do we ensure enough advertising/promotion in the Premier League to have Adidas offer to supply us effectively for free (profit from sales notwithstanding) as long as their brand is represented?

Hopefully Rickie will be on free-kick duty.
-
Also, include Henri Camara in 04/05.
-
Impressive. Take away Tim Howard and Brad Guzan though and they don't have anyone of any real note in that position now.

Seems a quite tenuous reason for starting a website, all the same best of luck with it chap.

Not much black on mine mate, the club badge is on a white background and no lettering in the stripes. The anniversary one is similar but with the 125th anniversary badge on a red background.
