Never fully recovered from being stabbed in his leg.

Agreed. It's just utter incompetence.
-
So. VAR. Bring it in for the cup 4th round?
-
Oh. Don't. Just bloody don't. That Henri Camara goal was a thing of beauty too.

Another TV station revealing the poor behaviour of it's own employees. Almost as though they let these things run before dishing the dirt.

Edwards and Wood as starting CB's next season. (Cannot imagine THB sticking around.)
-
It's cause and effect. We were hampered this summer by our previous excesses. So January 2023 was worse.
-
Looking at where we are, it would have been a herculean task to move on all the underperformers. After all, who would want them?
-
I see nothing wrong with sending Arma back to a level he can compete at. Let him gain some momentum ahead of him being useful again next season.

Cut adrift v still in contention.
-
In fairness, I would rather play for Parma too.

It's fine. 'Not much has changed.'
-
In fairness. The requirement was 'pull on a Saints shirt.' He most certainly did that.

How no-one has so far mentioned Tommy Forecast......
-
Only if you work in such vulgar terms.
-
He was a Forest goal line clearance away from matching him. The same Forest who won 7-0 today. As you say, the difference is evident.

Are we talking a league win, or a moral, stylistic win? Because oh wow was Martin good at those.
-
Resisting the urge to make an inappropriate joke.... But, my goodness. Almost forgotten what this winning feeling felt like.
-
Brighton are the kind of side/club we are meant to be emulating, right?
-
Finally, someone to put a boot in.
-
Purely for no VAR, bring on the Championship.

Either Stewart Downing ('Boro) or Steven Davis (Villa) in the 04/05 Season. Downing denying us a win in injury time in Twitchy's first game in charge cemented the trouble we were in. The Villa defeat made me realise, that for the first time in my life, yeah.... We are as good as down. Marcus Bent above also felt similar, but those are the two that stick.

I would rather judge on the performances themselves rather then results. I want to see if he can be flexible in his thinking, if he can improve any of the players at his disposal and get us more cohesive. Sure, the logic will be that if he succeeds the results should follow, but, considering how deficient we have been... I just want to see us putting up a fight.

I'm at the acceptance/apathy stage. I still watch games, but with zero expectations of anything good happening...... If it does, I know it won't actually mean anything. We will lose. See: Most games where we have led at half time for the last 5 years.
