I agree. Wonderful that an academy lad has fought his way to become an integral part of the team but he doesn't seem to be a natural leader. There are also areas he needs to improve in his own game (positional sense, covering his full back) that a captain should be able to do and use as a platform for leading the side. Spurs was moved due to the Europa league I believe. I had to miss the Spurs game due to the GSR too..... but I doubt there will be the same problem this year.

It is slightly curious especially when you consider that some arguably 'unwinable' games became the backbone of our survival last season! It could be something indicating the intricate and preconceived heiracy of clubs in the english game and the psychology of those within the game towards it.
