Now, that sounds a shout for me.....! Or, if Fox has been recalled; -------------------- Boruc --------------------- Clyne ------- Forren ------- Yoshida ------ Shaw ------------- Morgan ------ Cork --------------- Puncheon ---------- Ramirez ---------Isgrove/Fox -------------------- Lambert -------------------

Remember that well. Was about to post it myself. Steve Wigley's last game before he who shall not be named was appointed.

Hmm, that'll be a 6-2 gubbing then. I have a feeling it'll be Schteeeve starting.

A model pro and unfairly castigated when we were relegated. Not the most talented of players but he always played a part, quietly getting on with things and doing the job to the best of his ability. He wasn't the reason we went down. If players such as Davenport, Bernard, Delap and Beattie (Yes, the muffin man) had shown even half his desire, professionalism and willing that year we would have survived. That he went on to play for Celtic in the knock out stages of the Champions League shows that he was a player we could have benefited from in the Championship.

0-1 Notts County. Oh dear oh dear!!
-
How did that go incidentally?

And totally flies in the face of their 'we always get behind our team' claims. Bet it makes the younger players they have finally brought in feel outstanding!

We shall obviously have to agree to disagree.
-
I just happen to agree with not doing the opposition's job for them. Just like Team Sky in cycling, tiny improvements in many areas can add up to a big difference.
-
Just because they are at the summit it doesn't mean they are perfect.
-
If the opposition is doing their research and preparation properly then perhaps. No point making it any easier for them though.

I'm delighted 'Arry passed up buying something worthwhile with an SO postcode to get Noe Pamarot instead. Kudos, utter Kudos.

Good to see ex Saint Harlee Dean putting in a good shift for Brentford today.

Do not apologise young bear, your work here is done!

Carpet is just unhygienic. Tiles or plastic.

Another central midfielder (I don't have much faith in Steven Davis) and a winger would do for me.
-
Discounting Bale, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain who could walk into nearly any top flight side in the world. Based on how we play, Nathan Dyer would be a great re-addition. I don't think Baird would offer anything different.

Yep, I'm sure it wouldn't matter how nice someone was if we were sliding down the leagues. They would still be getting pelters!

Frankly, the whole Cortese/Le Tissier thing no longer interests me. It's obviously a severe personality clash and that in itself is nothing to do with how the club is run, it would be great to have something of an entente cordiale but I can now accept it's not going to happen. Time to move on, nothing to see here anymore. The interview was interesting though, was good to actually hear his perspective for a change and it reaffirms my feeling that there is always a reason for the things Cortese does. Fingers crossed the club continues to grow from them.

On that basis it would appear that Harry did a 'Mansfield away' on you. Play the second string and use a poor performance to try and prompt/frighten the chairman into allowing him to bring in new players. He tried it with Rupert Lowe by fielding the kids in the league cup up at Mansfield, they lost but Lowe wouldn't give in to him. Within a couple of months he was back at the Skates.

Can understand why some may feel its harsh, at least the club is consistent in it's approach. No freebies, no scope for potential abuse of privilege.

Independent but nationally affiliated journalist.

No idea. Looked ok in that friendly. Andreas Jakobsson was no better.

With respect to Simon, maybe it's better he talk to people without a certain preconception. He will be damned if he does, damned if he doesn't right now. Any public interview will be a reaction to recent events, no wonder he will be picky in terms of the outlet.
