Ok, in need of some advice ahead of the Maltese half marathon. It's 12 days until the event, i'm a little behind schedule with training thanks to the recent snow. I usually plan to do a 'trial run' of an event two weeks before it takes place and then do a couple of smaller runs to tick over afterwards, so I was due to do 13.3 miles last Sunday. I am however only up to doing 8 miles right now according to my training schedule which is exactly one week behind. So, do I go for the trial run on this coming Sunday (one week before the event) and just rest up for the following week or keep doing smaller distances and save myself for the main event?

They usually show all the build up and other analysis of the weekend with a heavily edited/highlighted version of the game.

Frankly, I think this was clear now. Nigel Adkins was brought in to complete a project. He did so with flying colours. Now we have someone working towards the next stage of the project. Ruthless, unsentimental and utterly contrary to footballing convention..... And we just defeated the reigning champions.

The Citeh fans I was talking to before the game on the whole were very friendly, pleasant and easy to get on with. Every club has it's share of ****s though. Just pity them.

Indeed. This is magic. The poor Trust thought it was game over..... but at least there would be a club to support. Instead, the other bid are canned by the FL, only for them to deliver the hammer blow of 'put up within the next two and a half months or shut up.' The clock is ticking and they couldn't organise a p*ss up in a brewery.
