The fact is Nigel Adkins didn't lose the last two games. Therefore his sacking will always be unjust. Any concerns I may have had in the past I eventually repressed due to Nigel being the man who dealt with the players day to day, he would always be in a more informed position to pick the team/tactics then a random fan on the outside looking in, regardless of how bizare they may have seemed.

Cortese's statements along the lines of 'there can be other avenues for investment' if the Liebherr family withdrew suggest that he is in something of a position of strength.

Again, just to re-iterate and as initially stated, that was a knee jerk emotional reaction by me when the news broke. His nationality was unimportant (and I shouldn't have emphasised it) I was simply furious at the replacement of Adkins with anyone. No offence was intended to anyone. Apologies obviously if it did offend.

As I said, immediate emotional reaction.

He isn't going to undermine us by saying 'I've got a heap of money and I'm in the mood to spend...' would put is in a ridiculously weak negotiating position.
