  1. I would want two players in each position. So, of the players I would keep (And restricted to naming each player in the position as I see their strongest.) Goalkeeper: Davis, New Signing Right Back: Richardson, New Signing Left Back: Fox, New Signing Centre Back 1: Hooiveld, Martin Centre Back 2: Fonte, New Signing Right Midfield: Puncheon, New Signing Left Midfield: Lallana, New Signing Central Midfield 1: Schneiderlin, Cork Central Midfield 2: Chaplow, New Signing Striker 1: Lambert, Do Prado Striker 2: Lee, Sharp So. That would stipulate the following new signings: Goalkeeper: Alex Smithees LB: ?? RB: Nathaniel Clyne CB: Ben Turner RM: Robert Snodgrass LM: Matt Phillips CM: Peter Whittingham I would also make a move for Jordan Rhodes. Ensure we have ample options up front. With the larger bench in the top flight we could be far more flexible. Also sign Gael Birgirimana from Coventry, he is going to be a superb dominant CM in years to come. Notable redundancies: Harding Bialkowski Butterfield Hammond Connolly Seaborne Jaidi Barnard
  2. I was there too for that one, 0-0 at half time thinking we were containing them. Second half they got out of first gear and utterly destroyed us. Wigley's last game in charge if I remember right.
  3. 27, Live in Coventry First Home Game: v Leeds, August 1995. 1-1 Draw. First Away Game: at Sheffield Wednesday, 0-1 away win. February 2000. Season Ticket Holder in the Kingsland/Chapel corner for the last 2 years. Have been a season ticket holder on and off (due to economic reality) since 2004.
  4. More mind games. Am I the only one who thinks that?
  5. Threads, a real heart warmer. Or Dodgeball, Happy Gilmore or similar. Switch off brain and chuckle.
  6. And that is why you should just take what he says with a pinch of salt. Let him get on with it and dodge out the way.
  7. Ah yes, great game. Really had to fight for it.
  8. Coventry away in the cup.
  9. Absolutely! But will they be able to sustain the momentum?
  10. Nothing if not consistent. Bless you Alpine.
  11. Come on Draw! (Sh*tehawks v Sheep Sh*ggers.) The stats indicate no fluke for Watford, they are really taking it to Wham.
  12. Clinic for Dolls by Unsun.
  13. In the Skate's darkest hour, they are overshadowed by a bigger story. Despite their best efforts they may be going quietly into the night with attention diverted elsewhere.
  14. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Trying to avoid spoilers online hasn't been too difficult thankfully, seems people are too busy playing it rather then writing about it! Just 2 more days. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/review-hd-mass-effect/727642
  15. I just feel that Sharp showed enough hunger against Burnley and a great hint of a partnership with Rickie to be given a start to cement it. Lee works wonderfully with Rickie too, but he would be better against tired legs, like v Derby.
  16. Wtfiln!?
  17. Now mathematically impossible that they can finish above us. They are in every single possible way no longer top dog on the south coast, but we already knew that.
  18. A daft deflection ruins our win. I just have a feeling on Karma with this one. The chances Leeds missed against us of course we were going to get something working against us. We played well today, that's the important bit. After a battering on Saturday we still showed that we can play to our best (with the exception of the final touch.)
  19. Awaits a Skate proclaiming "But, games in hand etc......" On this day, regardless of everything, it is what it is. We are top, they are bottom.
  20. Don't we play Ipswich mid week? :s
  21. Looking forward to the 'back from the game' thread. Get some first hand perspective.
  22. Start with Sharp and use Lee's energy to kill them when they tire.
  23. Sha-la-la, La-la, la la-la......
  24. As a great man once said
  25. I feel it may soon be pertinent to post an image of the league table.
