  1. You prat.
  2. Sacked by Chelsea for setting off a smoke grenade at the training ground. An ex-loanee of ours, what a fool.
  3. A total joke. Put them out of their misery someone, please.
  4. Scrapping plans after the administrator said it could hamper any purchasing bids. In other words, the ground is the only asset worth fighting over.
  5. Yeah, I didn't. I couldn't justify that, £200 quid on the other hand was far more reasonable. As for really changing the way I use technology, not really. It just makes it more convenient to do. Knowing that I can have SaintsPlayer anyway is quite a relief for trips with work.
  6. Liverpool would probably be the only one, but owing the the bizare nature of the Premier League we would need to win the League or FA Cup before he would be lined up for a job at a club like that.
  7. #Never thought for a million years that I would ever be making this comparison...# Just like Manchester United over the past 20 or so years. Now we know what it's like to be on the end of this nonsense.
  8. Diet Coke over monitor moment!!!!!! [video=youtube_share;I-BYzaDwNoE]
  9. Absolutely, removes all the fine particulates and contaminants from the paint outer surface. Just remember to spray waters onto the paint surface to lubricate the bar's travel over the bodywork. As buctootim says it may need a real abraisive t-cut type substance to bring the bird-poo effected area up again. Autoglym do a wonderful 'paint restore' polish for just such a purpose, a little kinder then t-cut which really is nasty stuff.
  10. To be in this position at the end of March is a dream. I still think we'll finish third and faulter in the play-offs but considering how our profile has risen and how respected we now are we can only look forward to a strong near-future. I wouldn't want anyone other then Nigel Adkins in charge right now, he will keep the player's feet on the ground and motivated when up against this kind of praise and expectation. Whatever happens in the next 6 weeks it's been a truly wonderful year.
  11. I use mine as a mobile communications device. It does everything that I would need (web browsing, messaging, facebook and all the other comms stuff) and fits conveniently in my case when travelling. I do use the MS Office equivalent to view presentations and edit excel spreadsheets now and then, but quite infrequently. I don't use it for gaming (I have an Xbox 360 for that) and I don't use it for photography or anything like that. Apps are not of any real interest, I just want a mobile thing that allows for full web browsing on the go, or anywhere I may end up. (In bed, in a bar in Malta, anywhere.) So yes, the PC is the master, but my tablet provides an extremely capable travel/portable companion. It surely won't be long until they are bang on the money.
  12. There truly is some digusting filth in the human gene pool.
  13. Ah, a 'terroni.' Yes, it is the same all over. (All credit to the book, "A Season with Verona" for that one.)
  14. I must have been here too long. :s For me, North is Yorkshire upwards.... now THOSE are northern monekys! I should know, I nearly married one.
  15. On that logic I should start supporting France.
  16. I believe that considering the success of the Apple OS and related products in recent times, they are simply going with the market trends....
  17. Well, I hate being called a Northerner living in Coventry. It's not the North FFS.
  18. Grace says 'Rickie Lambert' before every meal.
  19. Superb race, delighted for Jenson. The percieved ability gap between him and Lewis seems to be further diminishing and that can only be a good thing. Red Bull's race pace was better but they have to sort out their qualifying speed if they are to genuinely challenge. Alonso overdriving that Ferrari reminded me of Jean Alesi doing the same 20 years ago. That final lap was stunning.
  20. Taking nationality out of the equation, a club with the global fanbase like Celtic coupled with the television money they currently lack in the Scottish League would allow Celtic to become a truly global force, unfortunately they would still lack the outright spending power of clubs like Man City and Chelsea. With good management they would certainly be top six after a couple of year spell were they would invest in their squad and depth. Purely off their own backs though promotion from the leagues (if they joined at League 2 level, which frankly should be they best way, make them climb their way up and earn it,) shouldn't be a problem.
  21. Dancing around a coffee and cake shop in the middle of Coventry, much to the amusement of a friend of mine.
  22. Two FA Cup finals, one win and two following administrations?
  23. It's easier to churn out a cliché then analyse the facts. Lazy journalism.
  24. It all comes down to that. Just hopefully we are realistic enough to accept that we cannot go into every game expecting a win next year. (IF we go up, BIG if.)
  25. He's focusing on negatives. Sport is not a mathematic equation, it's not a question of certainties over 'lesser' opposition, it simply doesn't work like that but nonetheless a defeat or two against someone low is a focal point to him. It was an anomaly, a case of sh*t happens, but that's not good enough. Not for Alps. Bless his little cotton socks.
