Darlington may be a good shout. Not just near the relegation zone but pretty much nailed on for it. If we are going for the biggest drop in two years, it'll be interesting to see where the Skates end up next year. See if it can rival the demise/reformation of clubs like Halifax, Maidstone, Aldershot, Chester City etc.

You would hope that a spell in league 1 or non-league would embue them with a much needed sense of humility, just as we have had to endure over the last 7 years. Somehow though, I suspect they are too deluded/stupid to ever truly get it. They are not a big club (similar in scale to Huddersfield, at best), they have profited/gained enjoyment from their team cheating and oh yes, they do deserve it.

I believe we have an answer! Oxford United won the old division 3 in 1983/4 and then immediately won promotion as champions to the old first division by winning the second division in 1984/5.
