Yep, you will have no trouble at all. I have family in Qawra (Basically the Maltese Blackpool) and there are no end of Bars. St Juliens and nearby Paceville, which is the centre of Malta's nightlife will be utterly full of bars showing live football. In July/Early August there were very little restrictions other then wearing facemasks in shops. It's getting stricter now but it's still very free out there. Have a great time.

Say a third......

15 quid is just hilariously expensive. It's like they want it to fail. Paying 40 quid for Sky, then 10 quid for BT Sport, then paying extra for each sodding game. Just do one. Dodgy streams here I come.

Would he? In purely goal terms, maybe. Boufal had 3 in 70...... Walcott 10 in 77 for Everton. No idea what kind of fitness Theo is in. Most comparable player in our team, maybe Redmond? Shades of Aaron Lennon when he went to Burnley. Solid enough, but not going to make a difference as such. Can only be a squad option.... a 60k a week, short term squad option.

Not feeling overly enthusiastic about this, but well, give him a go. So unusual compared to our normal business.
-
Ings scored on 78, then JWP's free kick on 83. We then promptly saw that vital game out.

Watford last season.
-
Not what we need him for. Thanks for those stats.

Any comparable stats for Sangare? (Curiosity.....)

That was exactly what we needed. Brilliantly worked early goal to split open a stubborn defence, wonderful play from KWP and Adams (so unselfish) to set up Ings. From then on, thoroughly professional and organised. Burnley were never going to lend themselves to us attempting expansive play so very pleasing that we could stay firm and deprive them. Our season has now begun.

We showed a professional edge. That in itself, and despite the laboured elements of the game gives me great hope.

This I believe:
-
Quite enjoying Gary Neville having something of a meltdown.
-
Palace are playing this like it's away. On the break, catching us out. Sitting deep to ensure Ings/Adams cannot move freely. Roy has set them up perfectly to counter us.
-
Lemina not in the Fulham side. Injury?
-
Tik Tok. Just in general.
-
How could you forget Rickie?!!?!
-
A logical transfer but sorry to see him go.

The 'Soccer Saturday' format does need freshening up a bit, it feels like exactly the same show it was in 1999. Not a bad thing in some ways, it's endured because it basically is quite amusing, but there are other alternatives now which do the job arguably better. (BT and even the BBC's final score..........) It does feel like watching an old boys club, fine if that's what you enjoy but it's clearly not going to have wider appeal.

Great, a betting company. Good work to find a replacement in such short order, but a great pity it had to be a company like that. The club has also accepted the situation with people who have already bought the kit. Look forward to what solution they will offer.

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m

Paying hundreds of millions for a club and not getting a stadium as part of it. Cannot see it happening over say Newcastle or us. -
Nothing about the Wellbeck link makes sense. Not a prolific goalscorer, struggled to get into the Watford side last year (so his abilities are clearly declining) and will have high wage demands at a time when we are tryng to get rid of highly paid deadwood. Agent talk I would guess to try and flush out interest.

Bad Gateway....... 9 times out of 10.

Top three favourite Saints managers in the PL era.

1. Adkins - Just 2 years of pure joy. He had us in a safe position when he was cruelly dismissed. Could he have achieved more with the players at his disposal? Perhaps, but he did achieve what many would have considered at the very least highly improbable. 2. Koeman - We were a genuine force with him in charge, all in the context of initially anticipated relegation and firesales. An arrogant so-and-so but with good reason. 3. Strachan - Cup final, cup final, cup final. Delgado, a yoghurt and the cup final. Worst: Redknapp. A comprehensive and all too conveniently forgotten failure. Pellegrino. Just so far out of his depth...... Yet persevered with for far too long. Burley: Maybe most disappointing. The gamble on promotion did not pay off and we never looked especially convincing going about it anyway.
