Ralph just doesn't learn anything does he? If we can just keep the score down today we will have done well. What a pity for the first proper home crowd in so long.

I would say that Yoshi at his best would improve us now, for what it's worth. Tying to look at a bright side here. My gut feeling is that we are signing a quick show pony with only a small amount of defensive ability.
-
This feels a little bit like when we signed Yoshi. 24 years old, came from leftfield, from circumstances that didn't inspire confidence. He worked out. No, these are not straws..... What are you talking about?
-
Not much defending in that compilation. He's going to get caught in possession a bit.
-
Makes me think of players like Lee Barnard. He was amazing in League 1, looked as though he could really push on. Did nothing at Championship level and then his career absolutely faded away. Rather then joining us as we achieved back to back promotions being the making of his career it seemed to utterly kill it.

Adarabioyo would fit us perfectly, just worried about what Fulham would demand for him.
-
But it isn't, is it? He has had over two years with the club showing certain worrying signs. A full summer to train and drill the players to be as prepared as they can be and the same things are being repeated........ I want him sacked because the same mistakes are being made repeatedly regardless of circumstance.

Trying to find positives.... Aside from Adam Armstrong i'm struggling. The fact you can write the script for every single Saints performance without even needing to watch the game is the worst damnation of Ralph's time in charge. 1. Hope building promising first half, possibly with a goal if you are really lucky. 2. Poor second half with the team getting worse throughout, we will fail to adapt to any moves the opposing manager makes and conceed soft goals. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. There's just no point right now and will not be until Ralph is put out of his seemingly increasing misery.

I am frankly appalled at those who are both simultaneously appalled and indifferent to it. 7 arrive next Wednesday. How's life chap?

Threads like this really are a microcosm for society in general. Great reading.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester

So long and thanks for all the fish. -
Yeah, this. Taking Beattie as the example, slightly younger then he was back in 1998.

I believe Everton are wearing a similar one too. Looks like it's as much a Hummel as club thing.
-
Delighted to get him in, but lets temper expectation. He looks excellent in the highlight reels but he will be a very raw talent, if he doesn't hit the ground immediately running he will need our support. He is a pup with an opportunity to find his way.

My, we will struggle this year. Had Ings stayed I would have argued we were stronger then last year, Bertrand going was a shame but his heart was no longer in it. Perraud looks promising and has something to prove. How we use the £25m or so from the sale will shape not just this season, but also our medium term future. However, Ings going does open up opportunities for Tella. This will be his break out season, if he can strike a good accord with Che and Theo then we have a chance. This will need to happen quickly mind, our lack of strength leaves every fixture looking like an uphill battle. A lot will also depend on other clubs. Newcastle and Palace could self destruct, the promoted teams need one or two to fail to get to grips with their new surroundings.

They are getting the mind control jab. Everyone else is getting the 'cull the f*cktards' jab. Keep up!

Leaving the pacey stuff to those around him and using his technical ability to keep things ticking. Promising.

Grealish money being redistributed quickly. Hope they paid through the nose.

Welcome Tino. May you justify that buy back clause with your performances.

Always felt they were going for the Mugatu inspired 'dérélicte' look.

Interesting that the conspiracy theorists say people who dissagree with them are afraid, when generally they start off as the ones looking for alternatives to allay their own fears and lack of understanding. Saw the pattern in some friends, they were deathly afraid of sending their children to school when the pandemic began, scared that cities in China were being laid waste with massive burial pyres and that the government was trying to pull the wool over their eyes over the scale of the threat the disease posed. Now, they have totally 180'd and consider it an excuse to destroy liberty in the name of the flu. Can't have it all ways kids.

True, but a big shame if the youth team of a club have been deaf to the situation.
