I watch Hereford play when I an visiting 'Mrs Colinjb' on certain weekends. He may get a few goals but as a footballer he is just an awkward lump. An Adebayo Akinfenwa type striker.... But taller and less round. If he signed I would be praying for the best but my god, this reminds me of Reading wanting BWP.

Having seen him play a few times this season I am praying he hasn't come here. Big, clumsy but a bit strong. League 2 is perhaps even above his level.

Well, considering that Nicola himself had said there are some 'parties' at work who are trying to undermine the club I would say this rumour cropping up has a familiar feel to it.

I doubt he would risk moving his wife back to the area.

I doubt it would be Crouch. He always struck me as a fan who wanted the club to thrive and took control when he felt he could offer something. He would surely recognise that under Cortese/The Liebherr family we have better backing then many clubs could ever dream of.

Offshooting from the Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain thread where a curious message was posted on the Echo website. Who the hell would this be? Rumours like this have been persisting now for a while in various guises. Do they seriously expect there to be a welcoming embracing fanbase if they were ever in a position to take over? Or is this just a complete load of hogwash?

One of the worst things we could do is advertise to rival teams (who our targets are more then likely playing for) that we have 10 million to spend. Their prices would instantly treble.

Absolutely. Besides. This may be the final 'distraction' we have this season. Far better to give it our all in a high profile game that can showcase how great our club can be to masses of people around the world then to simply roll over, protect our assets and set a horrible psychological precedent for the league run in.

He was absolutely bang on about Rickie Lambert joining us back in August 2009. I wouldn't dismiss what he is saying totally out of hand.

Flat rate for a handset.... no contract. In context, on my iPhone 4 contract I am paying £1,000 over two years. If he goes with a simpler tarrif he could easily save 200 pounds or more in that time.

He could leave Dickson free to concentrate on providing cover/starting on the left wing.
