  1. Ok, it's loaded and now I cannot open the game.
  2. Would keep Butters as backup. Wayyy more is needed in Central midfield. I would have reservations about Hammond and Chaplow at that level. Also a new left winger would be needed. Also a 'marquee' signing as a striker would be absolutely necessary. The basis of a good team is however in place.
  3. Looked ok on Tuesday but then that was probably his last hurrah.... and he knew it.
  4. As a one season kit, fine. But long term no, Saints are Red and White stripes for me. (Although a kit like the early 80's one would still appeal.)
  5. Same for me, but with Amazon. If only I wasn't going away from tonight until sunday!

  7. Fair play! A safe way of doing it.
  8. Quite a leap of faith. Hopefully the new regime would honour it.
  9. He is, don't worry. Would be a good idea. Although if we would rather remain annonymous and scared of each other at home fixtures I understand.
  10. Agreed, descretion would have been the better part of valour here.
  11. Shrewsbury are a handy outfit. They will give us a good run out at the very least. But I think Turner needs to look up the word 'pragmatism' in the dictionary. We will not be dropping prices to spite ourselves with lower profit, it will be done to get more people through the door to optimise any revenue we both could make.
  12. Had Cortese not introduced Markus to us then we would never have had his money in the first place. No Cortese = No Leibherr family. Be careful what you wish for.
  13. I had the missfortune of having a yorkshire girl as a live in girlfriend for about a year or so. In her mind everywhere else on the planet was a poor relation to the wonder of yorkshire, she could happily discuss it's virtues all day long and always find fault with something that was not yorkshire in origin. It had the best countryside, the best towns the best cities and of course the best people and beer. It's not a bad place but it certainly isn't THAT good. Wales has better countryside. The cities are (Leeds apart) utter hell holes The people are self righteous and arrogant Kent, Herefordshire and Warwickshire have better Beer Thankfully I got shot of her and then began to live in peace. If that horribly insular county ever applied for independance I would be happy to cast them adrift. And as for plusnet broadband.... it's origin is reason for me not to buy it.
  14. That's right, quite scandalous for a charitable organisation that would directly gain through their use in this context.
  15. Always struck me as odd too, you would never ever know he played for us unless you were here. What is his problem?
  16. It's not your fault, but it's a flaw. Surely there could beyond the 'prefered personel' list be a few 'associated personel.' Players and managers gone who are likely to quote. Merrington, Le Tissier, Case etc. Not Shilton and Strachan as I seem to get.
  17. Maybe so, but what would be better, using the relative strengths of all to create a homogenous society or using allowing the strengths of society to flourish allowing better potential benefit for all? I liken it to this; It's the Daleks or the Cybermen. What would you rather? Both are flawed but at least one allows for excellence to flourish and that is the only way humanity will grow. Socialism is nobel, but will never work as humanity itself is fundamentally flawed there will always be someone in it just for themselves. Play to it's desire to grow and succeed rather then it's inability to always do the right thing.
  18. On that Logic, perfect for our brief.
  19. Nascar. Yawn.
  20. Quite. Harman has been shown to be an almighty hypocrite. But no, she is on the red side.... ahhhh bless her...... Silly thing made a boo boo.
  21. Based on our current form and how tight the league is then a few teams will have to really up their form and ours will have to faulter quite a bit to make that happen. I would be content with striking distance of 2nd and in the playoffs around Xmas.
  22. Do hope this is true. Always liked Chaplow, will be delighted if he is as good as signed up.
  23. Bad day for the Guv'nor! He must hate playing us. Great comeback despite us not being at the top of our game.... quite unlike us. Lets hope this is not a false dawn. Really looking forward to the Daggers game. My first evening game since god knows when. Can't wait.
  24. Maybe food from 'The Colonies' is permitted?
