Sadly innevitable, but his frankly heroic efforts to fight those injuries deserve the respect of all Saints fans, this is a man who risked his health and sanity to try and get back playing for us. Hope he stays with us in a coaching capacity. Maybe he could manage us one day? Shades of Clough in what has happened to him as a player....
