Proof that they are the greatest bunch of uber-fans in the history of everything. Period.

I always saw it in a slightly different light. Blair saw the writting on the wall and bolted just in time, leaving Brown way out of his depth with a massive mess to clear up.
-
Considering he is just as empty as Blair was it is still an improvement over Brown.

Two words: Inferiority complex. It has to be considered though that a high standard education doesn't always make for a high standard individual, you can get bad eggs in all areas.

Anaclet, that's the boy. Whatever happened to him?

Delgado in any 'worst strikers' list is sloppy. Now, most ill judged and injured list on the other hand.....

Can't believe he is only 26! And still unattached. Have we been directly linked to him or is this just wishful thinking?

Shame, I thought the where doing a top notch job. Coincidence that they sack Barnes after he was quoted on Talksport saying he 'wouldn't walk away!'

I believe you are refering to this speach: "I think we have gone through a period when too many children and people have been given to understand "I have a problem, it is the Government's job to cope with it!" or "I have a problem, I will go and get a grant to cope with it!" "I am homeless, the Government must house me!" and so they are casting their problems on society and who is society? There is no such thing! There are individual men and women and there are families and no government can do anything except through people and people look to themselves first. It is our duty to look after ourselves and then also to help look after our neighbour and life is a reciprocal business and people have got the entitlements too much in mind without the obligations.." When that statement is taken in isolation it is quite shocking, but when taken into context it is 100% correct.

What is selfish about knowing the work you put in will be rewarded? I personally belief the real selfish ones are those that know they can survive without contributing to society. This where the extreme comes into play, socialism is society all working together for it's mutual benefit, if everyone had taken that idea to heart it would work, but thanks to the fundamentally selfish nature of human nature (which does exist, but better to work with it then against it, no room for idealism in realilty) then it has lead to the system being abused. The shocking thing is the seeming lack of willing from the present government to do anything about it!

The term 'mock' is correct. It's something which I can't quite decide upon. Talk radio requires opposing opinion in order to stir viewer response yet it can seem so fake when they do it. People adopting opinions they do not believe in but need to do it to follow a format. Can see the need for it but can't respect it.

Sadly they can be given a certain stigma if the model type lends itself. Poor old Citroen Saxo, Subaru (Scooby) Impreza, Vauxhall Chavalier and Toyota Chavensis.

Please support Labour in the next election. That is all.

Gaunt called a counsellor who backed denial of adoption for smoking couples a Nazi. Considering he was adopted himself i'm not surprised he got so worked up.... yet he had his contract terminated over it. A real shame, even though he was a polarizing character, he was never dull to listen too. As for Whale... can't remember the exact incident, but his late night show got me through my first year at uni (working late into the night without a tele.)

Yeah, Irani is a tool. And 'Bow' time #shudders at the corporate naming# isn't the same with Darren Gough instead of Ian Wright. Still better then Radio 1 while i'm driving all over the nation mind. Just wish they hadn't have sacked James Whale and Jon Gaunt. They where extremely amusing.

I see your point, but I see it as more the desire to keep what you reap. Under the current government you can get just as much reward from becoming baby machines and claiming benefits as you can from getting off your arse and having a go at earning your keep. The whole upper and lower class devide no longer matters, even lower class people who have a strong work ethic are being shafted. A large proportion of those that work currently feel undermined. I know I do! The socialist concept of the strong supporting the weak (nobel though it may be) has been taking to a massively abused extreme and it HAS to stop if the country is to survive. An attitude of 'get of your arses and earn your keep or pay the consequences' has to be undertaken, and even though they are just as flawed as any established party, I trust the Tories for this more then any other entity in play.
-
Ah the old 'The Tories only like those who have money' thing. No, they just favour those who contribute more to the economy, be it through hard work and ability or resources. Better then a party who wish to dilute excellence and achievement so that the dregs can thrive anyday. Socialist ideals in a capitalist economy will never, ever work. #Pin pulled, grenade thrown......#

I remember, you remember, I think Ponty remembers, BUT, do they remember?

Who was that lad of ours on loan at Tamworth who played in their cup run a few years ago? Trained with us in the week, played for them at the weekend.
