I reckon he genuinely believed all this rubbish would result in something that works. Then, when he realised after a few dry runs and a couple of positive results notwithstanding that it was just not repeatable, he brought in a few fake cameras and voila, no breach of contract with Ch4, here's your program.

No, Dara O'Briain is streets ahead.

I totally agree with the sentiments of your post with one minor exception. I believe Rupert Lowe steadfastly and totally believed that what he felt was good for Saints was best, however, he was exceptionally misguided in that view. He wasn't some all encompasing evil, he wasn't out to ruin us, he was just completely arrogant, self absorbed and eccentric, and in the end we suffered for that. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Two players coveted by other clubs and snapped up. Who I believe, despite their faults we could do with now. I want Mifsud at this club, I have seen him play and know what he can do. I want him here and no stat talk will change my mind on that.

I started a thread about him a while ago. Obviously my Maltese and Coventry connections play a part there but I do genuinely rate him. Would love him to join us.

That new McLaren no doubt will be a stunning motor to drive, but it just doesn't look anything dramatically special. Just looks like an Ascari clone. Curious to name it after their 1997 Formula One car though.

Comparing Nazi Germany to Rupert Lowe, amusing a prospect though it may be is a little out of perspective...... a little.....
-
Personally I think they should never have sacked Tony Adams in the first place.

Regardless of Lowe as a man, he is part of our history, and desecration of any club furniture/property to rid us of him is wrong. He is a warning from history.

Has anyone considered that the US govenrment may just have tried to call the terrorist's bluff only for it to fail spectacularly?

Sh*t club with no real sizable fan element, always has been, always will be. Why waste the resources on a 40k or so stadium down there when they can't even get behind their team in their time of need. A total joke.

Considering I have a very Scottish name and family roots there if you go back far enough......... NO!

He has worked with Pardew before, albeit in a different capacity. Either way, yet more strength in depth added to our infrastructure. Hope it ensures targets on the pitch can be met. -
Just back from Sixth Form for the day when I switched the tele on, took a moment to realise that: a) I hadn't put on a film b) This was happening in real time and c) Yes, I had just witnessed the first tower fall almost exactly as I put the tele on. Will always be one of the most shocking days in recent human history, that no more then 3000 where killed is a miracle. I remember casualty estimates on the news at the time predicting up to 20,000 fatalities.

Smurf and Jaidi will make their debut and we will draw, then we push on.

Symptomatic of the last 5 years of horrific decline. Despite this I still believe we have bottomed out, the way can only be up from here. We where never big enough to ever truly proclaim a devine right to be in the premiership, only 6 or 7 clubs can say that. We indeed where not big enough to hold on to the Championship in our darkest days. I still stand by my remark that a total clean sweep was needed on takeover. Of all staff, playing or otherwise. I do know hoever that we are big enough to fight back. We are not Bradford, we are not Wimbledon. We have solid foundations and a wonderful large fanbase, we will survive this year and push on next.

Incorrect, we would still be above Tranmere.

Jesus, with all the doom and f**king gloom around here it feels like it. The bad feeling made the england game worthless for me regardless.

Saints lost, therefore Joy meant nothing when England played, football was just an empty hollow.

lol. If you look closely at that i'm on the front cover. Still watch my copy from time to time, memories.
