Terrible ball from Yoshi, but at least he is trying to make something happen.

Lemina is a bit of a shinning light right now.

I do get the feeling they are just going through the motions. Not trying to force anything to happen, just waiting for it to craft.

Very poor. Just content to leave him unmarked at the edge of the box.

The empty seats in the Chapel/Itchen corner suggest this thread is a little optimistic.

I hear you loud and clear. I miss the ignorant days of my early 20's when I felt I knew better, had a clearer vision of everything right and wrong in the world and felt truly optimistic about making a mark. Now, the more I've learned the more murky and clouded things become. Jaded is probably the best word.

Mixed feelings about the latest Discovery episode. So many ideas, not the greatest execution. And what a waste of a potentially interesting character.

Anyone watching Star Trek Discovery? Without spoilers, three episodes in and it seems to be providing a nice twist to the formula while keeping within some themes introduced in DS9. That it is trying to maintain continuity with the existing 'Prime' timeline is a nice touch, but it does already seem different enough to undermine that. Personally, I am enjoying it. It's great to have a Star Trek show back on a weekly basis.

He could do no wrong for us. Even when he left for Liverpool I couldn't feel betrayed, or angry. He had given us everything, so many incredible memories, so many excellent performances and goals. He had earned his dream move. My personal favourite Rickie goal was a turn and finish against Huddersfield (I think it was, a 4-1 home win around Christmas 2010). He was going through a bit of a tricky patch as we started our second season in League 1 slowly. His physicality to hold off the Huddersfield defenders on the turn and lash the ball underneath the keeper's futile effort to dive onto it was peak Rickie..... Beautiful control, dominating presence and fierce power. From that point on he, and we never looked back. We climbed into the play-off spots, vaulted into second and then continued our momentum all the way to the top flight. Born a Scouser..... Achieved immortality as a Saint.

That he is struggling so badly at Brugge now, has something changed in him? Did the lifestyle in England just not suit him along with the footballing style?

This should absolutely happen. Signed.

Yep, If he had been born around the time of the testimonial..... he would be 15 years old. God I feel old. This must be the biggest bump any thread i've started has ever had.

That's really put us on the map. Unfortunately, we will not have made it until we have an Isotonic Drink partner for Indonesia.... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/full-list-man-uniteds-64-9173142

A good strong win, played very well in the first half and weathered the Palace reaction in the second well. Lemina is exactly what we have needed for a while in midfield. Hoedt looked very composed. Credit to Long for rediscovering his ability to be an utter pain to play against and to the full backs for exchanging nicely with their forward men. Very pleasing and feeling much better about the season now.

And new/old. It's actually the badge the club wore for 20 years from the 50's.
-
No, it is instantly identifiable and distinctive. I believe the design of the ball was updated back in the 90's (from a stitched leather ball to the black pentagon type) to allow for it to be copyrighted. So any redesign is unnecessary on that basis.

Due to the way he ran the club, this will be an extremely interesting interview for us. I'm sure he will offer a very dispassionate and objective perspective. Is anyone able to keep a running commentary on here for those of us who are at work?

Surprised no-one has commented on this, was a good read. The deregulation in the industry really has made it a free-for-all.

We've got Van Dijk, Virgil van Dijk. I just don't think you understand? You signed a fat contract. Just play you greedy tw*t. We've got Virgil van Dijk

Say hi if he was, they've done a great job with the refit.

Would be surprised if he leaves for Spain, was just in the Tesco Express in Kings' Worthy.

The multiple personality disorder was the main clue for me.

I see it another way, they are looking for a regime change to avoid the risk of an ICBM hitting their population.
