It appears that Dr Barry Gale has predicted we will lose. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51135214

We were very poor, now we're pretty good. What changed?

Ralph stopped putting square pegs into round holes. -
Could the 0-9 be under threat? (Of course not, but Villa look appalling.)
-
Fair play to them, very balanced and even minded.

Seems to be a bit of a theme right now: Spurs fans: 'We had an off day.' Chelsea fans: 'We had an off day.' Leicester fans: 'We had an off day.'

Would cash out on Forster......
-
Absolutely fantastic, organised, hard working, creative and entertaining. That was a complete performance. Fan-f**king-tastic.
-
Good game this. We are really going at them.
-
Yes, the Skates at home. Or Oxford United.
-
Would hope that Klarer gets a chance today.

I swear this has been Corbyn's key strategy all along, appeal to the youth, plant that seed and see the benefit in a decade or so to come. Build a movement over creating a coherent political force...... Although he did try to do that..... Try.

On that hand, i'm against it. It's too clinical, sterile. Football was in many ways about the controversy, the injustice.... The moral victories even though the scorelines said otherwise. The debates with your mates about dodgy decisions that simply couldn't be called one way or the other. It's about celebrating what you have seen, not what is about to be microanalysed and retconed. I really hate VAR. Sod that we have benefited from it now, there will come a time when it goes the other way. And of course, it is still dependent on the fallable human bit that views the footage, it's just as crap as before in terms of decision making, only more drawn out.... Which makes it utterly f**king rancid.

A decent enough point. Jenny and Armstrong once again showed their worth. Ings continues to read the game so well, we must pray he continues to stay fit.
-
Yes, the Chicken/Egg scenario of needing to play to build up match fitness but not fit enough immediately to cope with the run of games.
-
Interesting. Didn't expect that, even though the rotation makes sense.... Feel a bit for Armstrong but he may be feeling the effects of his exertions two days ago. Hopefully Roy didn't see this teamsheet coming either.

The latest Star Wars was probably as good as it could have been. It would never have been able to please everyone. The only shame for me was that it ignored the most promising thread from The Last Jedi (an end to the black and white good/evil jedi/sith conflict.) Mind you, continuing that would have been a little too brave after the reaction to that film.

Did quite enjoy House of Fools a few years ago although it was very far from a classic and did rely on Reeves' weirdness often as much to it's own detriment as benefit. Quite telling that it was at it's best when Matt Berry and Morgana Robinson were on screen.

Right, treat this like an away game. Play to our strengths. Keep our shape, let them come at us (Which will be their inclination with Zaha down the wing, even though they enjoy countering just as much as we do). Keep things tight, when they start getting confident hit them on the break. I would take a point.

Odd thought. It's Boxing day and we have won more games this season then Arsenal.

Ralph's comment on Amazon: 'I had also lost my way.' We now have a settled side, who know their jobs and can work together effectively. That will not work against every team we play, but it gives us one hell of a platform to carry on with. That was delightful. Armstrong should have been MOTM for me, but that could have gone to effectively anyone out there for the work put in.

Best wishes to all on Saintsweb. May you all have a red and white Christmas and happy new year.

Our reactions to this say so much about how our club has been run for the last three years.
-
Three goals from 04/05 for me. Not just the Bent one, also Villa and Boro. After the Villa game I just knew we were down.
-
Boufal for Djenepo please.

I'm sensing a repeat of the 3-2 we had at Highbury back in 04/05. Really want to be wrong....
