Maybe we need a banner at Eastleigh then, `you are always looking up at us-Skates` as I am convinced Skates will be in conference or below, its just a matter of time. For a club that's not reached potential with the players they had (all bookies had them for title spot) its a bit of a crap banner! maybe they should have ` Pompey are not as good as they make out, we are **** and we know we are!`

It was a brilliant day, great atmosphere. The only time I was worried was when I got squashed by the Eastleigh fans behind me as I fell to the ground with the barrier during the second goal. Normally get 8-10 game a season and this year getting a season ticket @ £171-00 for a stand seat then next year early bird even cheaper. Great view, 2-3 food outlets, free parking (or walk to ground) and always see Saints fans I know at game. Great football and great value. Will be very tough in next league but Eastleigh deserve it and its a big achievement for a small club.

I want to watch a local team that I can afford and where the football is exciting. cherries is not within Eastleigh area. Its comparable to me as the cost is key, I need to find the £628 without putting it on credit or getting the 10 month loans, I ant find the total for saints so will go for a similar team I have watched in tandem to Saints where its within my budget. each year there are more and more redundancies at work and I don't have any loans except the mortgage and am not taking out a loan for something non essential. Clubs don't look at what's happening in the real world in prem but Eastleigh have stated they are concerned at the economic situation and fans income hence keeping costs realistic. I lot of fans appear to be happy with season ticket prices so they must be on a good wage and don't spend their money on anything else to not voice concerns.

I am not renewing. Its far too expensive for ordinary workers with mortgage and kids. I don't care what the inflation rate is over last years etc etc. The fact is its expensive and now a middle class game which has forced fans to get loans which makes the cost even more expensive. £45 to have installments is criminal . I am going to get a season ticket for Eastleigh FC instead as I watch a few games each season. The cost of Eastleigh FC this season for sitting in the stand is £171 which works out at £8 odd a game, an early bird with membership as low as £5-00 per game for not a seat in main stand. Kids under 7 free, under 16s £50 a season ticket. I have watched Saints since 1977 and season holder since 1996 but enough is enough and will just go to a few games. There is a limit to how much people will pay for things and £628 is taking the **** for me. Also the loyalty scheme takes no account of season over season loyalty as to how many games fans have been to. Its all geared to fans watching lots of games year on year. Get down to The Silverlake on Friday to see Eastleigh clinch the title!

I will be going. Good for Sholing and they could do with a big following which will help run the club in the next few years. The future is local football as Prem is out of average family budget. As with Eastleigh (my local club) I am wathcing them too, 3 more wins and that gets the title. Local football is great, its affordable, facilities are good and no travel problems as you can generally walk there!! So get on line and get your ticket and have a day out in the smoke to see Sholing win.......are they in Red and White as drawn first?

I go to a few games at Eastleigh each season and they get good crowds, 500. 800. 2400 for Havant and Skatesville. This season Eastleigh have picked up to regain early form and when they play well you would back them to stay top so its a real knife edge end of season run as Bromley are very good. Only 1 goes up auto and Eastleigh did a few years ago lead 4-0 in playoff away only to lose the advantage at home leg. I don't think they want to go through this again and I am confident top spot will be Eastleigh`s. As for Skates they only 2 things in their advantage are that both Northampton and Torquay have been dreadful and its only in last few games they have picked up points. Stakes play Northampton away and it could all hinge on this, lose this and they could well go down. will be a massive game if both meet as loads Skates visit for the Eastleigh/HW game. Mind you half Eastleigh fans are Saints fans!

Chuck clubs out of the FA cup next season, starting with Saints. Its almost match fixing deliberately playing a weak side. bet the club had £100,000 on Sunderland to win. Clubs always used to look forward and do their best in cup games in the 70s and 80s. They don't care now

I am changing my prediction from 5-1 to 3-2 to 1-1. I think this will be a 2nd string team and a huge banana skin! `With the two games in mind ` means the players that we have got that are fit or not due to be fighting in a cage fight will be saved for the Arsenal and Fulham game. Even though Yeovil are in relegation position they did beat Birmingham the other week! With our super dodgy defence and 75% possension play providing a few shots on target as in Burnley game Yeovil can be sure they with a 3200 allocation have every chance of getting goals. So 1-1 then 2-1 in extra time, will it go to reply if draw or result on the day?

Time to sell Osvaldo, he is a liability and thats 6 games we now have a weaker to to choose from. has he had more banned games than goals now, £1.3m per RED card almost

I had 4-1 to Saints but now not sure, could be anyhting. 1-1 if we defend well. Dont expect the normal high line and those being sold may not bother.

Poch does not look happy in the car on Dailymail pic at SMS yesturday. He must be off as If he was staying a nice wave hello and a smile would have been done to the waiting press and fans. We have seen this all before Southampton FC are a `stepping stone` club to greater things. The only thing I am concerned now is that Saints only have 30 points and we have NOT been playing well. Has a team ever stayed up with 30-34-36-38 points becouse if as indicated by Poch he goes and the clubs is then going up for sale with players put on ebay and Amazon to raise cash then Championship here we come. With football teams the more money you have the worse the club fall out becomes if there are dissagreements etc. We would be better off as a small club and not trying to be a so called big club over paying for players etc. Saints sould have enough money to get passed this but I doubt if its been managed properly in a bank account. Fire sale = debt trouble. Southampton FC are the HMV of football....what a mess yet again.

Thats more realistic a thoery we have had today. Are we a selling club? Sell a key player in the line up and approach to game plans and it leaves Saints with a problem and suddenly no higher than 9th and only down the table. Hold on we have had this before

Most if not all wanted a Saints collapse and loved it, now the tables have turned and we have the bragging rights.....

Saints couldnt stop and wont stop any players leaving as they cant match any wages like £100,000K a week and cant match the offering of European footbal. Unless we have loads of money which we dont, we operate on gate and TV money only (no big investor now) or unless we are in top 6 for Europe. I cant recall Saints keeping anyone who wanted to leave, I bet even Punch probally wanted to stay...and the head groundsman left too!

Nothing new and expected. I fully expect poch to follow also. I am glad I watched Saints in the golden years of 70s/80s/90s as now there is no loyalty or respect for fans or the club by Directors (or Dictators) and Managers. The first thing in football is profit and control, then player selction (often not by the head coach) then fans. At least we are not changing our name to Saints Tigers or Saints Halos etc then having blue shirts. Its not all bad Portsmouth FC have a great chance of going out the leaque so lets focus on that!!!

some of the first half was ok but by god don't Saints waste chances. Why cant players just shoot instinctively rather than taking 2- touches or squaring the ball. The second half was a waste of time we played like an away team for most part with one up front. If you play just one up then at least get the ball to the front man asap on the deck or in the sky rather than possession football. I go bored to death of possession football and passing back to put our keeper in trouble. Roll on the so called easy games. Jan sales wish list 1 x forward who can take the defence on 1 x defender And anyone else who thinks passing back 20 times a game is a stupid risky tactic.

Just got mine in P4. Don't book on-line it takes ages and then allocated your ticket but nothing in basket. You may need to update flash player, accept cookies etc. so just call the booking line and they are really good. Always a good away game this one....so get your tickets now!!

All I want is 2 defenders and a keeper. 10 points max until end Feb 2014 wont be good if Saints keep gambling at the back. We cant play our usual attacking high line with a dodgy defence and team have now worked out how Saints play and how to get shots on target. keep attacking our back and you will score eventually. Its a high risk game we play to score more than you let in!!!! I will settle for 10th with 50 points, but that still means 26 points to get, so do it the easy way with wins or the had way with lots of draws and a few wins.

Eastleigh already play Havent and Skatesville and its allways a near sell out with great atmospher. 300-400 skates each time. If Skates go out of leaque 2 then they will fold and merge with Havent and Skatesville....
