Football Special

Their defensive record is unbelievable as well

Disappointing result and a missed opportunity to add another Hampshire Senior Cup to our trophy cabinet. Assume it was a very young side we fielded. U18s have Derby County at home in the next round of the FA Youth Cup, no date set yet but should be played at St Mary's will keep an eye out for that

That feels such a long time ago, wish I'd bought one of those t-shirts now Line up hasn't really changed that much. Missing Che Adams and Stuart Armstrong? Starting lineup: GoalkeeperAlex McCarthy DefenderJan Bednarek DefenderJack Stephens DefenderJannik Vestergaard Defender/MidfielderKyle Walker-Peters MidfielderStuart Armstrong MidfielderJames Ward-Prowse Midfielder/ForwardChe Adams Midfielder/ForwardMoussa Djenepo Midfielder/ForwardOriol Romeu Midfielder/ForwardTheo Walcott

Was believable until they claimed Man City have 75% sell on , discredits whole post

Just going to watch these instead https://youtu.be/vSxicNgbut0?si=h5SRqd6mSvT30lK8

This feels a bit harsh

Just spotted Salisu on the bench for Monaco in champions league tonight, had forgotten about him , shows level some of our relegation season players were perceived, can't see many attracting such a move this time

Is he a Hoijberg or an Ekelund?

Remember it well mate, took thousands, Richard Hall getting a couple, blue flame kit , I still remember that era fondly which shows it wasn't all doom and gloom with Branfoot

Can have 5 or 6 loans in the championship, change up half the team, get new faces in who aren't carrying the baggage as worst premier league team of all time

Good, stick it up in the dressing room, players need to want to prove some people wrong

Had a look into this and since 2017 ticket pricing is set by the home club so it's all down to Saints, no agreement needed from away clubs https://thefsa.org.uk/news/the-price-of-change-new-fa-cup-rule-stings-home-and-away-fans/?fbclid=IwY2xjawH8uapleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHTDGbWeraDOYTcnT820cr7kPoAVmSbM93RKsR-ZkyPlQkEdBhv0QKT_03Q_aem_YShEZQ1EbJ8ACV9sSKXQrA

I used to be envious of teams with big away followings in that era but looking back loved those away days with a few of us, Sunderland away midweek January 2003 we barely had 200 , saw a 1-0 win James Beattie

Good memory, I think in those days we'd get big away numbers up north if it was a) cup game , b) a ground we hasn't played at for years or c) end of season relegation 6 pointer Think Barnsley was b.

I've heard particularly Man Utd want cap abolished or at least increased significantly, you can see why when this is what they are charging Leicester fans in the 4th round of the FA Cup on a Friday night, scandalous

I remember the days before the away price cap when we'd take the smaller 1500 allocation for Chelsea, looking back paid £52 in 2013 blimey

Also the "best" stand as seen by ticket prices for normal games, Itchen is not comparable as centre blocks taken up by hospitality. Just vanity trying to make the crowd look bigger to the tv cameras by leaving empty seats out of sight

Agree , make a gesture that acknowledges the terrible value for money we've had as season ticket holders (again!) Blackburn seem to have it right

Build Back Better

I think we have more humiliation in us , but like you say it's nothing new to us and our fans take it fairly well. The 0-9s , the Grimsby home cup defeat, the Nathan Jones interviews , it's a Carry On Football all in recent history.

Plus rightly or wrongly plenty of regulars in the Kingsland would like to sit in that stand , if they had to close one stand do the Chapel. Halfway line centre seats offer the best view, in Itchen those are taken by hospitality so why not open Kingsland centre and allow fans the chance to buy there?

Looks like same pricing as the Swansea game and Kimgsland stand closed again, they really are morons running the club https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/southampton-vs-burnley-24-25

Could have been more if Man City hadn't taken off their forward line to save them for champions league

Can confirm have seen the Fat Controller at a few games usually giving it the big one to opposition fans

Devon is our catchment area as @Turkish will inform you, I'm sure there's more than that.
