Just watched the football league highlights show, Doncaster lost 5-1 at home to Plymouth yesterday and drop to 23rd in League One, definitely a kind draw for us
-
Will be nice to see another name on the league trophy, hope they do it. I've always quite liked Heart of Midlothian FC.
-
Scienza really should have scored first half
-
I agree, but apparently some Oxford fans were calling for him to be sacked after defeat at Charlton yesterday

Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg

Is he injured? -
Makes Rob Edwards decision to leave Boro for Wolves seem even more crazy, they are certain for relegation but now just end up like us trying not to break too many records , hard to tell how strong they'll be in the championship next season

Didn't we think that against Norwich as well? I don't know much about Oxford, but they've had some decent results this season particularly at home, last time we visited was a rubbish defeat pre season with Russ , hope for better this time. Just a short journey up the a34 shame ticket allocation was so small, anyone going to try to watch over the fence at the car park end with no stand?

Yeah we needed someone to be a handful in the box for the all the crosses we were putting in , Cov were struggling but our options off the bench were limited, their keeper played well though fair play to him
-
Three central defenders, two deep midfielders dropping to receive the ball , very few options in front of them to them to receive the ball, not set up.to counter a physical team who sit deep, Not the best tactics Tonda mush. Maybe throw the keeper up for corners again
-
Spoke to a few after the game, we seem completely off the radar to them as far as promotion rivals are concerned, probably fair enough
-
It's really poor, atmosphere was dead for so much of the game, even when we were going for the win at 1-1
-
Cov weren't great. Probably gave us too much respect, will take a point but with more quality could have won it.

Corporate tickets and missing blocks

I don't think all the seats have been put on sale yet , few blocks still to go -

Might be a bit extreme but a good plan is for one of us to go down the panorama route as suggested, get a job in the ticket office and go undercover , then expose the corruption with an report published on here -
We're not keeping a clean sheet are we

I've just emailed asking to book the roped off area for Saturday night , sounds like it's guaranteed
-
I loved his nickname Tommy Fourpast Fair play to the chap. Hope he used his football salary wisely for that short spell when he'd have been paid well, ultimately seemed like we agreed to sign him without proper scouting
-
I agree with you, but faced with two hours stood around at a cold Fratton Park having endured an early start and a bus journey along the m27 it feels inevitable that the offer of a beer will be too much temptation for even the most disciplined amongst us. Did I read it correctly that Saints fans can't even take food and drink for the journey? Mentioned earlier in the thread I'm told when Skates buses arrived at St Mary's they were greeted with a fully open bar with pre poured pints ready to go , commercial manager would have been rubbing his hands at such a captive audience and £7+ per pint!
-
Blimey you are right, odds on a Cov win seem generous , might have a few quid on that with both teams to score
-
Looks on course for a sell out on Saturday, big game against the league leaders, not many seats left mainly either side of the away end
-
Fuck sake. How many goals did we concede that season? We're stuck on groundhog day with this discussion but if everyone is honest we all know Baz isn't good enough
-
I've never seen P Dawson 69 at an away game thankfully with his wacky dance moves
-
I think the best Championship sides often pick up a couple of good loans, not sure if we have the right connections at the club to do the deals required. Coventry are a good example bringing.in Rushworrh in loan as keeper (from Brighton I think) , he's been excellent for them, shows you can strengthen without big costs, we should have gone for him

There was a tiny number left for 9 aways
