  1. No, that's you being a bit Anel. Never heard of him before that post and he doesn't look any good.
  2. Isn't that what they're meant to do anyway? And if they're sure and they're miles off get rid and bring in XAI. Expected guess at a decision made by a computer, reviewed by someone who hasn't a clue and then give the goal to the big team.
  3. No, that's 'in'.
  4. I actually don't see him going. Think he's got a bit of a point to prove, knows he'll do well under TE, doesn't quite want the upheaval, knows he's got time on his side and believes in himself and will get a move that'll suit him at some point. Would be interesting to see what his father-in-law thinks cause that'll have a large say in it and I doubt RK will sugar-coat anything.
  5. Quite worryingly, the bloke from Stoke is ok. Now get rid of the other tw@, put in merciless Martin the Martyr and we'll have a show.
  6. Time to subscribe to Foxestalk. He's brilliant. He'll get better. If he changes things, we'll do better. It's boring. 112% possession, no shots on ... their goal. He'll adapt, he'll be fine. Then they start frothing at the mouth. Only questions are how long it'll take and how many will still love him for his hair, Buddhist values, pictures of Lucy Pinder 30 years ago and never giving up on his principles (and not eating bacon).
  7. Didn't see that he did and in his interview he came across as level-headed so would be surprised. His first senior goal so let him celebrate it.
  8. S'ok. I think most of us got where you were coming from.
  9. Cones. On a hot day. Ice cream cones.
  10. Westminster was full of ex-Pompey, or what then? Why object to what Southampton did?
  11. If anyone goes can they get the definitive list of the acceptable criteria for what it is to be FAB?
  12. Bloody was, wasn't it?
  13. But Middlesborough can only get to the semis if they're reinstated and they're not gonna win the final, so what can he do?
  14. Was this 72 hours before a game?
  15. Well in that case, standard practice is stupid. How come people don't do better (are their plans crap?) if they follow the drills, can't they learn basic things like marking, tackling, etc outside of those 72 hours and is football now played, I don't know, on a computer and not on a pitch with a huge number of random factors (and diving) which are much more likely to affect the result? The whole premise is stupid.
  16. Might. Might not.
  17. But he did blag the Rangers gig, and for him that was the equivalent of a top top top top club.
  18. Answered your own question. Although I'd have JS as club captain and playing alongside THB but the latter should be the captain on the pitch.
  19. From what I've seen of him so far, he's far too safe and/or negative so I would move him on.
  20. The touch 'past/round' the keeper is poor and quite lucky; he doesn't go to the side to go round the keeper's dive nor does he push it on quickly to 'beat' or get under it; clearly he doesn't have full control of the ball at that time. That can happen so it's not much of a deal but it would be wrong to say it was good or clever play. The second one (the 'chop back with the instep') is ok. Again, he gets a bit lucky in that the defender doesn't get clean contact or block him off but clearly he does enough to then score. He did try a couple of things at Eastleigh and seemed more at home but I have seen nothing yet to make me think he's turned a corner/is able to demonstrate sufficient ability. The other thing is that he clearly is a cut below Larin and doesn't seem to mesh with the team in a comparable fashion; often it's like he's playing his game which is different to everyone else's. Think we'll have to see what he brings to the Colchester game and a couple of others. If not enough (which will have to be a lot more than I've seen so far), I can only see a loan/sale beckoning.
  21. Is 'against the rules', whatever they may be, dishonest? If I tell a fib, am I dishonest? A white lie? Etc. I don't think he's dishonest as he's never said he wasn't involved in it and been shown/had it proved that his comment(s) were dishonest. Equally, by that measure and irregardless of accusations other, Mr Salt *is* dishonest. But he, here, is allegedly the 'victim'. And of course, then, Mr Gibson and the Crying Swede are both honest and dishonest.
  22. Well it actually does put it into perspective: it's not that bad if everyone does it or it is that bad and so then is everyone for doing it. As I've said before, watching Doku and stopping Doku are different things entirely so I doubt spying on Man City would have helped much prior to them really taking it to us (while in first gear) at Wembley.
  23. Hope so as he's worth considerably more as a player.
