  1. It's been a bit of a PR nightmare from the club, but let's hope lessons are learnt.... * Use a proper PR company * Use proper lawyers from the start * Give a new manager a proper induction as to the laws of the English game..
  2. They’ve lost 80 odd million over the last 5/6 years, but I think they ‘only’ lost 13 million last season which compared to most championship clubs. Isn’t bad at all..
  3. Bristol does have a golf club next door….but it also separated well and the nearest point to the pitches is the driving range, and Norwich, unless he’s standing on the edge of the bypass you can’t see or get in. Personally I think the level of spying is being over reported. Most training grounds particularly at this level are secure.
  4. Not as many as people think. Portsmouth, Millwall and Hull are the ones I can think of. You can get a partial view of Wrexham from the hillside behind, but you’ll be certain testing the levels of performance on an iPhone for that one…
  5. So the Hull team bus has been smashed on its way to the hotel. Of course, according to Karen FC it’s Southampton fans on some sort of conspiracy to get them fined. Are this lot okay? Absolute creatures.
  6. To be fair they are still plastering shit all over the Wolves pages and local rag about Edwards. Strange lot.
  7. I managed to put my plans in the smoke back just in case. I actually want the Karen’s to go up, finally they’ll have to give up the seat at the EFL top table, plus Gibson won’t be moaning about parachute payments anymore.
  8. Like any workplace they'll need to make sure they've got everything in order before removing him. I'm almost certain we'll see a public announcement he's gone around 1100hrs today..
  9. Maybe. But I think it’s been pretty much proven to get a decent view of the 1st team pitch he’d have to be in the woods opposite, outside of the golf club and training complex. Maybe that’s why the soldier memes were on the clubs WhatsApp!
  10. Also why he was watching the top pitches. That’s normally where Middlesbrough warm up before moving further on down to the 1st team training pitch for the detailed stuff.
  11. The punishment would still be the same. All the club needed to do was put out a rather sarcastic statement stating ‘Boro was a leaky sieve and proper evidence will be provided to the commission. That then puts a seed of doubt into the narrative in the media.
  12. On the plus side. If Boro do go up then they won’t have the top chair as the championship rep to the EFL, we take over that and when those sorry little Karen arses finally drop back. Just block Gibbos number.
  13. This is the one they need to bring up, because the points deduction should have been made during the 23/24 season. The EFL gave them six points last year, which still would have promoted them in that particular season. I’m sure they only did that to stop any legal challenges from Leeds who could claim they deserved automatic promotion.
  14. Final straw for SR. Personally for me I’m not bothering to step foot in the club until those horrible fucks are gone.
  15. Tea leaves
  16. Looking through the EFL rulebook. Match postponements, the home side should give five days notice and the away side seven days. Now, that is just for a standard league fixture but surely the same rules have to be followed if the EFL actively looking to postpone the final.
  17. I can't see it being called off now, just purely from a logistical point of view with plenty of moving parts beyond fans and club officials. We're now just waiting for the verdict. Which I don't think will be as harsh as some predict, certainly not harsh enough for those cloud covered, miserable f*cks in the North East..
  18. Interesting. Based on the last Championship campaign our revenue was just shy of £85 million, with the likes of Portsmouth (boo) at £14 million and Middlesbrough (double boo) at £31 million. That suggests that even if we stay down, we would have a reasonable amount to play with.
  19. Possibly the reason why those 'named' by apparent 'Boro sources have since distanced themselves.. I remember many years ago before Staplewood was developed, the youth teams would sometimes play on a Wednesday or Thursday on the main pitch. A few occasions you would see coaches from opposing teams walk round the hedge to watch the first team. Often a few days before a game...
  20. It'll be reduced on appeal if it's points. Personally I expect it to be two (eventually) like Sheff United got last season for deciding not to pay any remaining transfer fees they owe..
  21. If Middlesbrough have appointed NdM, then I'm sure there are a few holes that need....well, filling.
  22. There is, but this is why it's being overseen by an independent panel.
  23. Depends if they have a no fly zone or not, for some clubs having the training ground near an airport or prison is a god send as you can't do anything. There was a report a few years back that one club installed anti jamming technology just in case someone tried!
  24. Remember him coming on against Birmingham in the Prem, pretty sure Redknapp put him on the wing too..
  25. Looking at the Ipswich forums, they are already billing it as promotion day.....hopefully we can at least delay it for a few days. I can see today being a draw, with Ipswich scoring from the millionth penalty they've got this season.
