Tubgirl....christ, that was horrific.

Likewise. Still buzzes off the old money Division Two season back in the late 90's.

Sadly not - the period in question was from 2009 - 2018.

Some sad news. Kevin Miller has passed away at the age of 57. Played 7 games for us back in 2006/07. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cmlyjw7n7v03o

He played for them at youth level, but he supports West Brom.

Probably put two and two together after the Downes comments following Lincoln.

Although this is a more in-depth report, it's also using the same 24/25 finances that Maguire used in the BBC article. https://swissramble.substack.com/p/southampton-finances-202425

Not surprising. Had the misfortune of sharing a train back from Cardiff with him once. Often wondered if he managed to make anything of his life.

What a complete creature that lad was.

One of my Dutch mates still can't believe it's the same player they had over at Feyenoord, because he was absolutely useless for them..

Exactly that, been a number of players who have stayed or made odd moves because of family. Luckily it’s not like the NFL where you have to go!

I still genuinely believe this was to either cover off a Scienza transfer, and/or they were concerned about Azaz and his fitness over the summer.

Hopefully. Two good signings in those positions and it’ll all be rainbows & unicorns again.

Best raid City for another young CB then, Harrison Parker?

Commercial revenue helps with SCR too. No problem getting fans from other clubs in to see 'legends' if it means we can put a few quid in the transfer kitty.

Seems like they are willing to pay quickly to obtain those brown wings..

I think BBD will stay, I get the feeling Tonda will want to use him as an additional attacking option.

Someone give 'Boro a call, I'm sure Gibbo will be all over this.

Likely, although Ahmedhodžić is certainly a decent centre back and could do a job to fill the gap left by THB. Ideally, those two together would be solid.

Quite a few bits. I've got all the programmes and match tickets from the 1976 cup win run framed, along with signatures from most of the team. A few different saints shirts from over the years, including some match worn ones and some not released to the public. Couple of signed footballs, I was friends with a couple on Southampton youth players in the early 00's so I have a match ball with signatures from Theo/Bale etc. Finally my dad's match programme collection, which is box after box of mostly Southampton matches but with some rare ones which are over 100 years old.

Scienza might be back on the left, according to Tonda he shifted him over due to the way Watford set up. I'd still play Manning, despite his clusterf*ck moment for the second he can still deliver a decent ball.

Likewise. I heard rumblings from Wrexham beforehand that it was a weakened team from them, also with 'Boro they still looked a bit meh, especially at the back.

The marketing bollocks around the kit was that it's the colours of the 90's. I can vaguely remember them having a yellow kit around 1999/2000 but still, it's very 'scummer'

You'd hope, but also a comment about him looking a different player when he goes to another club. I think Stoke, as a club just seems to have a habit of bringing out the negative aspects of a player..

Four year deal starting 24/25 season. So we've got them until the end of next season at least..
