It'll be interesting to see how this lot get on, certainly they are actively targeting those on the mid/far left within the Labour Party and at the same time potentially have wiped out the greens who have been occupying that ground since Corbyn left the Labour Leadership. Can they gain a foothold within the UK political party system?

A good double espresso in the morning.
-
Yep. Wednesday is the obvious but Charlton, Hull, Oxford, Skates, Blackburn and a few others....all clubs with some absolute dross.
-
Predictable. It may be Scotland, but he has the chance to play in Europe which will trump anything we could offer.
-
Vaguely remember one game when we put 8 past a part time Spanish side, but they've mostly been rather drab like it is for most clubs.
-
Fair assessment. I think it's all about fitness and making sure they are physically ready for the start of the season, that being said, I think the game against Espanyol might be the one in which we get a glimpse of his preferred starting XI.
-
Shrewd signing. Certainly has bags of talent.

Was.....since Starmer has U Turned on a few environmental policies and hasn't joined a pro Palestine march Vince is throwing him under the bus at every opportunity. It's like Musk vs Trump, but wearing hemp cardigans and sporting a keffiyeh.

It does seem to limited to two particular groups. 30 odd year old women who haven't had kids, or those who've had kids and they've rightly fucked off.

You'll know as soon as you do it yourself someone will be turning up with a clipboard. The EA should have a larger role in the changes going forward, arguably they could fill the void of OFWAT being disbanded and hold the water companies to task.
-
You'll know from the agricultural sector that the EA is being pulled apart at the moment. The funding is being stripped, they aren't monitoring the rivers and streams like they used to and the visits to farms are less frequent. My concern is that as the EA is slowly being dismantled by the government, even if water companies start to clean up their act there won't be someone there to actively report on the state of UK rivers & streams.

People who treat dogs (or animals in general) like humans.....you're not it's mum nor does the fucker need an Instagram page.

I got a feeling that Ramsdale will still be at the club when the window shuts. The noise around him is similar to that of Trafford last season, early links and then it slowly goes quiet before nothing actually happens..
-
I did think that, I spoke with one of the owners of a said G Wagon the other day and he has a shot blasting business...now he may be very busy, but he must be doing incredibly well to afford a £1.2 million new build and a top of the range Merc.
-
Likewise. I know the former Portsmouth (boooo) defender Greg Halford is too, and has written at length the impact it had on his career and issues he had with managers and team mates.
-
One that has been bothering me for a while, but modern Mercedes G Wagons. There seems to be an influx of them to where I live and they are rather ghastly looking things aren't they?
-
Likewise. Absolutely loved that kit.
-
That's the one. Knew the playing time was reduced, didn't realise it was only 45 though.
-
Looks incredibly similar to Exeter's Joma kit from a few years back..
-
Didn't we have it at St Mary's a number of years back? When we had a mini tournament? I'm sure each game was 60 minutes rather than 90.

100%. I lived in North London or a number of years and hated it, despite it being one of the 'better' areas of the capital. Working now with farms all over the South & South West is fantastic, I never knew such beauty really did exist in this country until then. (That being said, I once worked outside of York and the place was flat and miserable. Only time I'd happily be back in London). On another note. Morgan cars - they get my vote for something great about this country.

Which premier league Soccerball club will you support next season?
leesaint88 replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
Two teams I keep an eye on. Exeter - Wife is a supporter so I often go and watch a few games a season. Proper terrace & cheap tickets, the downside is I often have to see the in laws. De Graafschap - One of my close mates is a fan and he also follows Saints. Well supported club of a decent size who really shouldn't be bumbling around the Dutch second tier. -
Ah 2018! Remember that one well, I was based down in Goodwood and can recall the fields being scorched due to the heat. I've said it before on the climate change post but it is really getting hotter, one farm I work with notes down the temperature and rainfall every day and has records going back to the mid 1800's. As well as heat we're experiencing heavier periods of rainfall too..
-
Agreed. I spent some time in the middle east, the heat was horrific and I don't think I've ever experienced anything like it since.
-
That would be my thinking..
