  1. Nothing says 'Spoons chic more than a pair of Slazengers & supermarket jeans.
  2. I still think Ballard will be off too. He was gash last year in league one, he'll probably get sent out on loan to prove himself for the final time.
  3. Followed by 'Josh from Germany'. Pretty sure that's just Will's demeanor rather than anything else.
  4. To an extent. But some of the articles in the Portuguese press suggest just £5 million upfront which is reasonably small compared to equivalently priced transfers..
  5. Maybe. It seems like Porto wanted to spend £19 million via instalments too, if they stump up a large amount of cash upfront then the club might go for it.
  6. Gets paid to the owners and not directly into the club unlike sponsorship deals.
  7. Possible, although it seems some players are already being put in the shop window. I'm fully expecting Tall Paul, Sulemana and Bednarek to be gone in the next few weeks.
  8. We're quite early into the 'transfer season' and I still believe there will be a reasonable clear out. The club is still going to want to find some value in the players they are selling so it'll take some time, but hopefully we can get most of the deadwood out the door by mid to early Aug at least.
  9. Hopefully, the dregs getting turned over 3-0 by Exeter.
  10. Pretty sure Viveash was assistant to Robins at Cov? So it sounds like PT is heading here...
  11. But the data really shows it was safe. Myocarditis and pericarditis is at 18 cases per million and seemed to be mainly in the under 40's, in terms of deaths associated with the vaccine it's no different to others and even the MHRA's yellow card scheme shows reports in line with other drugs. I have no issue with people having an opinion on vaccinations, its the beauty of life that we can all pick and choose what we believe in. But I do have a problem with false information, I've even see articles claiming to have a source from a medical journal when no such document even exists. It's stuff like that which means we have parents deciding against vaccinating kids against measles or having a total mistrust of medicine in general.
  12. Seeming though the current sponsorship deal runs to the 1st July, I very much doubt we'll see anything before then..

    Israel

I'm not 100% sure on that - Some years ago I worked with a number of Iranians who once in a position to speak freely, they certainly didn't care much for the regime and the women were even more critical of them. Many watch western TV shows and news (at the time they could access the BBC world service) they wished the country was more open and liberal. Whilst they don't want to be trapped by the west, they know that with the vast wealth in Iran they could easily become a super state in the gulf with western investment.
  14. Good shout that - I think he was one of the main reasons we survived that season.
  15. Andreas Jakobsson & Alan Bennett.
  16. Or even just online speculation. I notice some of the Leeds kits on there are based on 'concepts'.
  17. I pass Steve Wigley most mornings between Hedge End & Botley, he's normally decked out in full Fulham training kit....even though he's now left them.
  18. People are a product of the environment they are brought up in. Sadly if parents have a rather dim look on immigration, the EU, education, science etc then that's going to be passed on. Over the years I've had a few lads work for me who had challenging upbringings and nearly all of them had a mistrust of pretty much everything and everyone! I've only just managed to convince one that having a HepA and B vaccination won't cause you to become impotent..
  19. I think it's more to do with Cooper and where he wants to be, currently he's got a job with the FA and he's probably quite happy with that compared to the cut throat world of club management.
  20. That place sends shivers down my spine. Odd for it to charge a fortune for beer..
  21. I believe so. He took a lot of pride in fundraising for the local church and often organized curry nights to raise funds. I think his daughter played football for our ladies team? So at least the family wasn't fully blue! (and he lived in a SO postcode..)
  22. Ended up playing against him when he was at VT. I used to live dangerously close to Linvoy Primus, and to be honest was a pretty nice bloke too.
  23. Probably - he was manager from 2005-2010.
  24. Kelvin Davis, Dan Harding and Danny Butterfield at Centreparcs, Longleat.
