  1. Tub girl.... 🤢 Still can't escape that image.
  2. Some early data shows it almost ran out of runway on take off too...
  3. 787 Dreamliner - Probably one of the 'safest' aircraft out there. Certainly from the footage it looks a strange one..
  4. Remember being in Colorado some years ago during the Autumn, it reached nearly 30 degrees during the day but dropped to -2 at night. Never experienced anything like that anywhere else in the world.
  5. He's a complete weapon. I'd be very worried if he started sniffing around the club..
  6. Telling ya, that Volvo V90 Cross Country.....tows beautifully. 😁
  7. I'm still doubtful that Leicester will get the points, they need the EFL to take on the case brought forward by the Premier League and I haven't read anywhere that suggests they have? It has been suggested they could get between 12-17 points if the EFL does act, which is massive and with a manager only being confirmed after the 1st July. I'd put them in midtable. Dark horse could be Preston, they've been quietly going about signing some half decent players..
  8. To be fair if you ask ChatGPT to predict the table it comes up with similar. Can't see Wrexham finishing in the top 6 if I'm honest and would swap them with Birmingham.
  9. Also Ipswich fans are quite vocal about Godfrey being the worst player ever to feature for them, and considering the dross they've had over the years that's some achievement!
  10. I'm pretty sure it was noted that all first team players had a relegation clause and have done ever since the promotion back in 2012? Only pure clusterfucks like Leicester would decide to exclude them...
  11. Jesus, that was just horrific..
  12. A vehicle shouldn't need to be a status symbol though? The richest individual I know (Times rich list wealthy) drives around in a 2004 Subaru Outback, he does not give a shit about what people think of it. He drives that thing into London, to meetings, the golf club, the lot. (He does however have a rather lovely car collection stored away....)
  13. The XC90 is beautiful, but I still think the V90 XC has the edge as an all rounder. Land Cruisers are great though, our Amazon lasted 20 years and never put a foot wrong. We sold it on to another farm who still use it today.
  14. I've got a 2014 Ranger and currently I'm wondering how to make it go away conveniently for an insurance payout. Quite possibly the worst pick up I've ever owned..
  15. I work within agriculture and I've used loads of different vehicles in the past, some great, some not so much. My personal recommendation if you want the right mix would be a Land Cruiser, I have a 2021 model here and it's brilliant with plenty of ground clearance and a solid drivetrain. You can pick up 2016 models in and around the budget mentioned. Special mention also goes to the Jimny, I have a commercial here and it's excellent on the farm although a bit so/so on the 'normal' roads. Both the Volvo V90 cross country and the Subaru forester are decent too, one of the lads is running a 6 year old v90 XC and the Volvo four wheel drive system is very good and my god it can tow well too. Really depends on what you want at the end of the day, a Disco is always capable but has a challenging reliability record as you've mentioned and I wouldn't fancy pissing about with a Cayenne. For a big diesel engine I'd be looking at the older Touareg's with the V10 TDI.
  16. Lumley is out of contract, so Baz and Macca as our only first team GK's..
  17. Hammill was a loan signing, at the time I thought he looked pretty good. Totally forgot we had Euell, he stuck around for a few years too...at least Safri went at the end of the season.
  18. Would give me horrible 22/23 vibes...
  19. I think he tried for a couple of years after retiring. I've worked with a number of ex sportsmen/women over the years, but Sean is by far one of the nicest, genuine individuals I've had the pleasure of working with. I do get the odd snippet of insider information, so I'll be on to him next week to see if there is anything on the horizon..
  20. Correct, 26/27. I thought it was this coming season TBH. My biggest issue isn't necessarily the gambling sponsors, but the fact most of them don't have a presence or license to operate in the UK. Like ours....
  21. I thought it was confirmed that Rollbit would continue? Sadly the gambling ban only covers the Premier League and not the EFL.
  22. I work with Sean. I'll get him to tap Craig up...
  23. Agree x 2. Watched him in League One this season, just looked really off the ball compared to what are some rather average players in that league. Give it two years and he'll be at Eastleigh.
  24. True, but the Premier League has raised the matter due to the late submission and general pissing about with the 23/24 accounts. This year was the first season when all accounts had to be submitted to the Premier League by December (all clubs including us and Ipswich), apparently it was so that they could properly look through the figures and pull up those who have been a bit naughty (only two clubs were excluded from the naughty list, Spurs and Brighton). The charge was raised after Leicester decided they didn't want to play ball with the request, and then delayed them as long as they could assuming they were trying to dodge any points this season. The irony is that had they played ball with the Premier League they would of had the points this season and a clean slate moving forward, now with the investigation potentially being taken over by the EFL they'll be hit when they need the points for any promotion attempt.
  25. It seems that Kieran Maguire has a different take on it. As the season falls within the premier leagues jurisdiction then any punishment can only be handed out when the club is in the Premier League, now, as you've mentioned that could be a long process and is unlikely to come through this season and that's where it could get a bit messy. It seems there has to be an agreement between the PL & EFL to take over the investigation but that's not 100% nailed on to happen, the EFL might not agree with the potential charges laid down by the PL and might even decide they want to lower or increase the possible punishment (the EFL have preferred financial in the past). I get a horrible feeling that yet again, despite being a complete basketcase and breaking the rules they'll get away with it because the PL & the EFL can't seem to agree with each other.
