  1. That's the one. Knew the playing time was reduced, didn't realise it was only 45 though.
  2. Looks incredibly similar to Exeter's Joma kit from a few years back..
  3. Didn't we have it at St Mary's a number of years back? When we had a mini tournament? I'm sure each game was 60 minutes rather than 90.
  4. 100%. I lived in North London or a number of years and hated it, despite it being one of the 'better' areas of the capital. Working now with farms all over the South & South West is fantastic, I never knew such beauty really did exist in this country until then. (That being said, I once worked outside of York and the place was flat and miserable. Only time I'd happily be back in London). On another note. Morgan cars - they get my vote for something great about this country.
  5. Two teams I keep an eye on. Exeter - Wife is a supporter so I often go and watch a few games a season. Proper terrace & cheap tickets, the downside is I often have to see the in laws. De Graafschap - One of my close mates is a fan and he also follows Saints. Well supported club of a decent size who really shouldn't be bumbling around the Dutch second tier.

    The Heat

Ah 2018! Remember that one well, I was based down in Goodwood and can recall the fields being scorched due to the heat. I've said it before on the climate change post but it is really getting hotter, one farm I work with notes down the temperature and rainfall every day and has records going back to the mid 1800's. As well as heat we're experiencing heavier periods of rainfall too..

    The Heat

Agreed. I spent some time in the middle east, the heat was horrific and I don't think I've ever experienced anything like it since.
  8. That would be my thinking..
  9. Already reported Norwich would only sell to the Premier League or abroad. Non starter that one..
  10. Zeneli is 30 though, I thought the new way of thinking was the target players a lot younger...
  11. It's reported Norwich are only open to selling him to a Premier League side, or abroad. Certainly looks like Leeds are at the front of the queue for him.
  12. 'Literally' being shoehorned into every argument or statement. This morning I heard some young chaps having a chat about the middle east (very on trend) and a number of times I heard 'they are literally dropping bombs' or they are 'like literally killing kids'.
  13. On reportedly ridiculous wages too. Yet another let's chuck a huge amount of money at a project and hope it sticks, if you remember both Villa and Leeds did similar and it didn't pay off. Good luck to them but I think there is more sense in being smarter with the finances rather than overspending.
  14. When I played rugby one of the props used to leave a bit of deep heat on his thigh, he used to wipe it on the balls of the opposition players to you know, liven things up a little...
  15. Seems pretty similar to Morris. Strange that they've signed two very similar players.
  16. Nothing says 'Spoons chic more than a pair of Slazengers & supermarket jeans.
  17. I still think Ballard will be off too. He was gash last year in league one, he'll probably get sent out on loan to prove himself for the final time.
  18. Followed by 'Josh from Germany'. Pretty sure that's just Will's demeanor rather than anything else.
  19. To an extent. But some of the articles in the Portuguese press suggest just £5 million upfront which is reasonably small compared to equivalently priced transfers..
  20. Maybe. It seems like Porto wanted to spend £19 million via instalments too, if they stump up a large amount of cash upfront then the club might go for it.
  21. Gets paid to the owners and not directly into the club unlike sponsorship deals.
  22. Possible, although it seems some players are already being put in the shop window. I'm fully expecting Tall Paul, Sulemana and Bednarek to be gone in the next few weeks.
  23. We're quite early into the 'transfer season' and I still believe there will be a reasonable clear out. The club is still going to want to find some value in the players they are selling so it'll take some time, but hopefully we can get most of the deadwood out the door by mid to early Aug at least.
