You should also never change a winning team. Given we lost I think it’s fair to change things about, if someone has underperformed they shouldn’t be starting.

I think the difficulty is there are already players for this position. Azaz is the starter. Matsuki has done well, is a AM by nature but we have this weird habit of playing him wide when he doesn’t have as much pace. Bringing Dobbin into the mix is a good option, but clearly he hasn’t been brought in as a starter. We’ve got multiple players for the RW, AM and LW positions now - ability is questionable for all of them though, very weak on the right hand side and left/centre heavy.

We need three or four more players. And need to lose the deadwood which includes Brereton-Diaz, Edozie, Ramsdale, Quarshie, Bazunu and Sugawara.

If we lose three or four games prior to the start of September t owners will have to take the risk and pay out on players. Fuck financial fair play. Buy players. Get promoted. Accept the retrospective suspended points deduction. 😂

Larin looked good. Doesn’t in the second half, but that was pretty much it. Scienza looked crap, Dobbin very indecisive when it comes to shooting and the midfield was largely non-existent. Very poor way to start the season - again.

I think teams will be more prepared to play us this season after the way we finished the last. All that said I think we’re the underdogs in comparison to the teams that came down, Middlesbrough, Wrexham (because of the media love in); we have an opportunity to have a right go and stay under the radar which probably suits us just fine.
