As mentioned on TSP last night, if he comes to Saints there is no honeymoon period. No time to get fans onside. One goal down or one defeat and he’s lost the fans immediately.

I think if he hadn’t taken another job after Saints, and having done that interview with Gary Lineker which he alluded he had learnt a lot about that experience (recruitment, tactics etc), he would be a bit more welcome back. Or certainly welcomed back more than he now is. Going to Rangers and basically doing the same thing again showed that he hasn’t changed one bit. Great football at times, yes. But leaky at the back. Our fortunes are not turning around based on a one single player. Oriol Romeu was brilliant, delighted if it’s true that he’s coming back, but let’s be realistic, the problems are a lot deeper in the club.

Bizarre post, I’d argue up until the Swansea game it was, a win at that point would’ve taken us into the play offs. It was the lack of finishing that punished us. Three defeats in a row later you can see the players now look completely lost and have a lack of fight. That’s why the change has been made. Alfie House is not the problem in all this ffs. 😂

If Saints went out to get a manager from a lower league they’d be riots. Can you imagine? 🤣 Michael Carrick seems the best of a pretty average and available bunch. But again, lives up north. You have to take into account you have some managers who are quite happy to upsticks and move and some that still want the right balance.

People need to just boycott. Simple as. Football isn’t the be all and end all in life, and these guys aren’t taking my money.

Pretty much what I’ve said for weeks, couldn’t agree more. Everyone calls for Will Still’s sacking but most fail to come up with any realistic candidates. It’s slim pickings out there unless SR pull off a masterstroke of an appointment. But we all know they won’t.
