I thought maybe it was just my imagination, that we always seem to lose on TV, but it seems I'm not far off the mark I may have missed some but from what I can make out our Live TV record so far this season is P9 W 1 D 2 L 6 .... basically relegation form!! Fans from other teams must really wonder how we have been up at the top all season if all they see is our Live games!! The solitary win was probably the most unlikely - at Old Trafford. Of the draws a decent result at home to Chelsea, but also a poor draw at a very poor Villa. All 4 of our home league defeats have been televised In fact only 2 our 8 defeats haven't been shown, at Spurs and Burnley. So as far as I can tell ... On TV Live P 9 W 1 D 2 L 6 Relegation Form Not Liv P17 W13 D 2 L 2 Champs League Form Please keep us off the TV FFS. Edit ... was Newcastle awy on the box? Only slightly changes the stats though!!

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 0-2 Liverpool
ericofarabia replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
You need to see the replays of that - not far off being a straight Red. High and late and very intentional (to stop JWP progress). -
Bench looks stronger than the starting line up!! COYS

LOL at the Spoof BigSam Twitter account!! notBigSam@TheBig_Sam·15 mins15 minutes ago Well, every one of these useless bastards can now watch me whank in the hot tub. Whilst maintaining eye contact. They must learn from this

Moot point, but with the injury time all used up couldn't the ref have blown for full time once the pen had been saved rather than conclusion of play?? Anyway if we do the business 2 points gain on Spurs and 3 on Man U and Liverpoo would still be a good weekend.

WTF was all that about? :scared:2-1

WTF was Erikson doing ... it's only the 76th minute - don't try scoring so early!!
-
Shame Townsend off ... been absolute dogs mess. To think a part exchange for Spiderman was touted pre season FFS. Hope somebody ties Eriksons boot laces together from the 85 th min. YAY WHU score again!! Quick look at table just to make sure this is worth cheering!! Hell it's Spurs losing so all good!!

Just had a quick look at the league after 26 games from last season. Top 3 the same, but notably 3rd placed Arsenal had 56 pts this season 8 less. 4th placed Liverpool had 11 points more on 53 than this seasons haul of 42 and hopefully that will be the same after their 26th game today!! 5th placed Spurs are 7 points down (hoping WHU hold on!!) from50 to 43. Man U are 7 points better off than this time last season and we are 7 points better off, but please god let it be 10 later today!! If (when) we win the 49 points would take us into 3rd place, but would only have seen us in 6th place last season!! This really is our best chance ever to get in amngst the CL places that's for sure.

Get the eff in !!

Well this is going to hurt ..... Come ..... on ...... you ............. ha ... ha ..... ammers. Please feel free to kick anything that moves.

or indeed this ....

No we didn't, which is why we kept turning down paltry 5 million up front rest later based on appearances / caps won / Elvis being seen on the moon /type offers from Arsenal, and they finally gave in and stumped up the whole wedge in one go!! Theo and Bale yes money was in need. Surman grudgingly moved to keep the club afloat, but not AOC.

The Match report by Factless Allen or Jordan Cross is going to be an absolute masterclass in one sentence hyperbole, with tales of derring do of how their plucky heros went to to toe with a team that held the mighty Man Utd to a draw recently, but showed The CL wannabees how to do it properly. Move over Wayne Rooney - make way for Matt Tubbs to lead the England squad to a brave new future!! Interestingly, I've tried a few times to get onto their web page, but no joy!! Obviously the 250,000 Southsea Islanders trying to find out the route of the open top bus today to welcome back their all conquering gladiators.

Absolutely, but as the great Paul Weller said in The Changing Man ;- All I see, the more I know The more I know, the less I understand So to avoid any confusion, I insist that Saints finish in the Top 4

It is a good sign, that because of the options we have, Tadic isn't even assured a place in the line up. Needs to impose himself more, but we have choices of his guile; pace and maverick-like what is going to happen next of Elia and Mane or more direct stronger running of Long at our disposal to feed off Pelle. . Midfield needs to weigh in with more meaningful shots on target though.

Questions, questions, questions!! [video=youtube;pWS8Mg-JWSg]

Oi ... don't try giving us expats a bad name, or else we'll send The MELTS (Middle East Looney Toons Squad) over to sort you aht!!
-
Ninja Nuns ..... excellent!! They'll stop any cheeky scally scamps nicking milk bottles, wheel hubs and SFC players

I was wondering that. Doesn't really seem in the right frame of mind at all. Hope he doesn't play so that we can concentrate on supporting us.

Lala could have made life a lot easier by handing in a transfer request rather than bleating to the press that he wanted to leave, but that would have meant losing transfer fee % and "loyalty" bonus. Meanwhile Liverpool were also stirring things up via the press and trying to pressurise us into selling him on the cheap by issuing deadlines and final ultimatums on the fee!! Who the frigg are they to be issuing deadlines and final ultimatums to us FFS.

Come on Pards .... keep your Come Back King run going.
-
Thank god we didn't spunk away 28 mill or whatever on Lukaku!!
-
You can just change the centre half's name each week, know it's going to happen ... and sadly know the ref will give hime diddly squat protection, yet pull him up for the slightest indiscretion.

2 ex Saints, managing their teams to victory over Arsenal and Man U, and Citeh to press the self destruct button at home again would be a good start to the weekend
