  1. He's taking away my will to live reading that load of old tosh. It takes longer to read it than it does to do the actual deed, but far less enjoyable
  2. Lets smoke him out with a Re Run of The Soul Cellar Thread. Didn't he also have a real monk on everytime MLT was mentioned? The lure would be too tempting to ignore

  7. I wonder how this poor old dear will be affected by all of this?
  8. I seem to remember seeing stats that showed us pretty high up in the Long Ball stakes as well, but probably most of those would have been Morgan's 40 yard Ping to the feet of an overlapping defender/ wideman, which to be fair to WHU this season they seem to be doing more of, rather than the aimless hoof up the middle.
  9. You won't be able to move in the Gent's
  10. Did Frank Zappa inspire your choice of names for her
  11. The Club have certainly learnt from the 2 most expensive flops we've had in Osvaldo and Gaston. From the start both players seemed loathe to join us, but due to lack of other suitors willing to pay as much as we were offering, they reluctantly came to us, and did little to earn their pay or respect from the fans who were willing them to live up to the expectations and be great players for us. The latest batch of players have all seemed to be very keen to join us, and with many of them on loan to buy deals, no costly errors will be made. In fact one guy (Algerian?) got sent back within a month for not having the right attitude pre season saving 8 million or whatever there and then!! The Gambles are now made with The Odds stacked very much on our side!! Only downside is if the loaning club is smart enough to put in a buy back clause as with Toby. Wonder how that one is going to pan out? Elia with his tongue in cheek Tweet about his Balls still being intact shows he could well be a bit of a maverick still and a challenge to the club, but at least we get a trial period first (and 3 pts bonus v Newcastle)!!
  12. No thanks. Goes down like a bag of sh!te every challenge and whinges to the ref nonstop. Big Pony Tailed Girls Blouse ... an insult to all Hairy Ar$ed, Beer Gutted Tab Smoking Geordies
  13. I've been in The Farmhouse a few times post match, and always seems to have a nice vibe, and good banter with Bar Staff. Nearly did a runner 1st time I saw the 2 Bulldogs (?) ... but they really are big softies. But who knows, maybe there's a Trigger Word The Landlord can use and they'll rip your throat out Have fun Boys and Girl!!

  21. Not sure why this old story cropped up on The BBC Web Site after all these years, but glad it did as I missed it 1st time around!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4748292.stm
  22. Hardly surprising seeing as he was brought up in The Southampton Way.
  23. It is a very good deal when you take into he could go for free in 16 games time!! Just hope he doesn't hold out till the end of the season and then walks. The chances of him starting say even 10 of those games would be at a cost of 300,000 quid a game in lost revenue, and the chance to take a look at a loanee to replace him. To be honest I'd rather he stayed, a valuable squad member and any new arrivals are going to cost a lot more than 3 million that's for sure, unless Reed is seen as his replacement. On the other side of the coin, if as suggested his new contract would make him one of the higher earners, how long before new salary demands from others start spiralling out of control?
  24. If you are ever on Mastermind, don't pick MLT as your Specialised Subject!! Old news indeed.
  25. Bearsy's Polar Bros are in danger of losing their Boners!! http://www.designntrend.com/articles/36717/20150127/the-penis-bones-of-polar-bears-are-shrinking.htm
