The perfect Xmas pressie for the fishy ones ..... shame the effect is ruined by the presence of scantily clad women though!! Slightly NSFW ish. http://www.cosmopolitan.co.uk/entertainment/news/a31688/erotic-carp-calendar-actual-thing/

Brilliant timing .... Jay Rod just posted on Twitter ...4 minutes ago Hi Folks, tough few games for @SouthamptonFC but still looking good. I'm just starting to pick things up and restart the engine. Positive OK not going to happen soon, but 1st positive news (praising the team)from him in a while. So far only Man City have dominated us so far, but our ability to win or gain a draw in the other games is a concern.

I blame that stat that was bandied about a few weeks ago saying we had committed NO defensive mistakes at all this season .... published just before the Villa game I believe. Downhill ever since.
-
Not bad, but you need to work in a bit of we hate Pompey into it though

I'm taking one for the team as well ....... seen 3 games this season in our haunt in Dubai .... Liverpool, Spurs and Man City .... lost all 3 , so tonight I'm staying at home and try to watch it on a dodgy stream. Also game ending at 0200 local and I have to get up at 0530 and can't have a drink has a bit to do with it as well.

Nope but I am flying in from Dubai ..... SuperFan me up -
Same thing with early Sat games as well, hopefully getting up early doors will keep the Mancs quiet though.

LMFAO .... the Hero to Zero Swingometer will be off the scale by now!!

Damn - hadn't realised that. Yaya in particular is a cheating diver and goes to ground way too easily for a big man. Virtually a 100% chance that Morgan will pick up a yellow today with the amount of tackles he puts in, can't afford to lose both him and Vic for the same match. Who is the ref today?
-
Licking my lips at the thought of Big Vic crunching Toure in the 1st tackle of the game and watching the wuss hide from Vic for the rest of the match.

Fingers crossed that The Dutch National Team and Barca have an excellent next few years and aren't on the prowl for our Ron!! #spiritual home

Not Flat Pack ..... but Fat Pack.

In the 3 games that SRL has started in he has been involved in all 4 goals they have scored. Scored at palace, scored the 1st and good hold up and link play set Sterling off on the run that led to the 2nd goal at Ludo, and hit crossbar from which Johnson scored the rebound. Makes the 16 mill they spunked on Buyatelly look nearly as bad an investment as lovren's 20 Mill

Ha Ha .... Their big day out on Merseyside ...... Tranmere Their big day out in Greater Manchester ..... Bury Their big day out in Greater London ..... Wycombe. Oh how the mighty have fallen!! Fair do's though they were only 22 mins away from an open top bus journey worthy away draw at joint bottom Tranmere.
-
..... and takes them off joint bottom of the league ..... what a Cup Final Day it must have been for them. Right up there with their 4-3 from 0-3 at HT against us in the cup all those years ago!!

At least there is still a gap and the worst we can be is 3rd with 5 points ahead of 5th at the end of the weekend. Last season it was far ore bunched and when we lost at Arsenal instead of being top we went down to about 4th I think.

At the away game Cork was for me by far the best player on the pitch that day. Toure that day in particular had a real strop on when he didn't get a free kick every time he dived after every tackle on him. But for a moment of Fonte madness after 2 minutes, Jay Rod's injury and the most ridiculous Non Offside decision ever in the history of The Premiership we'd have definitely got a result there. It says something when we gave the team a standing ovation at the end of a 4-1 defeat.

You got a damn good deal there. I'm paying 35 quid and they aren't including any ladies with the beds, not even breakfast Are you going for the blonde, brunette, red head combo Seems there will be a fair few Saints staying overnight in Sheffield. -
Truly amazed that it hasn't sold out, even with Citeh surprisingly failing to sell out their allocation. A sure sign that ticket prices come into play for many people when the game is on The TellyBox. Wonder if it wasn't on Sky whether it would have sold out? I think somebody mentioned on The Villa build up, maybe Live TV games sould be reduced entry fee and any gate revenue subsidised by the crazy TV revenue.

How about a Saints win whilst supping a few beers, and then a good thrashing by a Dominatrix dressed as a nun .... ticks just about every box that you'd want ticking

I also thought the quality of the crossing and dead ball delivery was pretty poor. After brilliantly making space for himself Tadic's crossing barely got past 1st defender and Long, Mane and Clyne were guilty of some poor efforts as well after getting into position to deliver. Pretty sure RK will have them doing plenty of practicing before the next game. I think it was mentioned elsewhere about the amount of long diagonal balls Morgan delivered which gave the defence plenty of time to get organised, rather than crisp balls to feet, although due to the amount of defenders Villa had that wasn't always an option available. Some of Big Vic's short passing was a bit sluggish, especially compared to recent games. Mane didn't have his shooting boots on, but does look to get into shooting positions well. Just one of those days where any of those little things on their own wouldn't have been too bad, but with virtually everyone not quite firing on all cylinders at the same time we didn't look as slick as we have so far this season. We'll certainly need to step it up against Citeh though, some of their play against Swansea was mesmerising, yet they looked very vulnerable when Swansea attacked. Hopefully a good open game will help us.
