Hope your trip is made worthwhile with a resounding win!!
-
Of course they do ..... any team playing Spurs or Liverpool deserve to win!!

Whats with all the namby pamby Spurs players wearing gloves? 6' c .... winter hasn't even started!!! Even weirder is Lamela wearing gloves but has a short sleeved shirt on, there again he doesn't seem to know his ar$e from his elbow when it comes to scoring goals!! * If our players wear gloves tomorrow night it will be because it is colder and darker, and due to some special sports science findings in helping aid performance!!

On so any occassions in the past few years, I wanted them to turn to toast, but now I'm so so glad they are still struggling to survive in the lower reaches of Div 4 and rewarding us with moments like this!! Their 1st ever defeat to a non league team - they just might be doing it a bit more regularly next season Sha la la la la la la la

Typical professions are in Travel and Hospitality, Engineering and Mining Does anyone actually any Miners, let alone one who drives an Alfa Romeo and supports The Saints? For my part, being male and liking football, having a passing interest in watching birds and gardening, plus One Flew Over The Cucukoos Nest would probably feature in my Top 5 Films means I more Saint than most of you!!! SuperFan me up!!!

Sadly missing out by a few days :-( but will be at Sheffield and hopefully ticket permitting at Old Trafford in Jan. Also fingers crossed for a decent FA Cup 3rd round draw. Come on folks get Nick his Burnley tickets, but would have thought it would be make pay on the day even, especially with the lure of Sheffield and expense of Xmas.

According to YouGov... The Average Saints fan is: Lives in the South Coast region I don't .... maybe I'm above average

Good luck Frank!!

I was thinking exactly the same. Also Sterling never looked to link up with him either.

Even if he does believe he did nothing wrong, there is no reason he can't come out and show some sort of remorse at how the situation has brought so much distress to the girl and her family. It might not make him innocent still, but might be viewed by some a little more favourably. At the end of the day Sheffield Utd have to look after the welfare of their club more so than the individual. Pretty sure all players must sign some sort of code of conduct contract relating to the image of the club, and his actions on that night (and since) aren't appropriate at all. Keeping on an average player who may or may not get back to the level he was a few years ago, or lose the goodwill of a majority of patrons and fans in Sheffield is a decision they will have to make, and in my mind he loses out, brought about by his own actions.

What egg chasing rugger buggers get up to in their changing room has nothing to do with this thread!! ;-)

We are once again Southampton FC, playing in Red and White Stripes, welcoming ex players back into the fold, the person who actually owns the club is in charge and we are no longer Cortese's play thing. After the rollercoaster ride over the summer, the feel good factor is back in abaundance as is The Spirit of Southampton. A truly inspirational 1 min 25 sec Basically WE HAVE OUR CLUB BACK!! -

What a bunch of ******. I am flying out of Manc back to Dubai early Mon morn, so I guess I'm lucky it didn't get moved to Mon night, but bang goes my post match p!ss up in Manc on Sat night The Newcastle game would have finished just before I set off to work a nightshift but now starts as I set off to work, so that one is now a no go for me. Got to feel sorry for the travelling fans, what is it with changing the longest journeys? The Swansea game moves from the a day off followed by another day off, to me getting up at 0430 am the next day, with the game finnishing at 2200 here, so no drinking and watching it at home instead of down the pub with The Dubai Saints. I really do hate TV rescheduling.

Saints vs Sheffield Utd (A) Capital One Quarter Final

Aha ... that sounds a lot more promising, obviously dependent on how quickly the initial lot sells out, if at all!! -
Sadly this is most likely.

Can't see anyway Madrid will let him go for the agreed price, so unless we get in a bidding war for his services, we will be 1.5 mill to the good, but back to scratch in the search for another defender, although Gardos doesn't seem too bad, but not in the same league as Toby, and we'd need the best for our Euro Campaign!! My Gentleman's Agreement thing was alluding to Madrid giving us ist option on a higher bid, but can't see that happening .... highest bidder wins I guess.
-
Reports at the time on Sky said 8 mill Euro / 6.3 quiddage. Can't see any Gentleman's agreement coming into play from A. Madrid and letting him come to us for that. Pity it wasn't nailed down, that's the problem with 11th hour deals on the last day of the window I guess.

LOL LOL LOL .... things could have been so different ...... 25 Jun ...http://metro.co.uk/2014/06/25/liverpool-open-talks-with-atletico-madrid-over-toby-alderweireld-transfer-4774890/ Liverpool are in talks with La Liga champions Atletico Madrid over a deal for their out-of-favour defender Toby Alderweireld. Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has made strengthening his defence a key priority this summer, and Belgian hardman Alderweireld is being eyed up. According to Sky Italy, Liverpool have approached Atletico to discuss a £7million transfer and hope to be able to do business quickly. So, what will it be ...... 7 million for Toby or 20 million for Lovren, no brainer for the man with no brain!! ...... This is what it's like to be Rodgers, this is what it's like being a no mark ****, You've got Lovren and we've got Toby A, Toby A, Toby A, Toby A. I know it doesn't flow, but I think it gets the point across!! Unfortunately the Loan Deal has a nasty twist in the tail ... http://www.teamtalk.com/news/7555/9462279/Transfer-news-Toby-Alderweireld-focused-on-the-present-at-Southampton .......... The Belgium international completed a season-long switch to St Mary’s from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day. The deal to bring him to England includes the option for a permanent move to be made next summer, with a fee already agreed. However, the agreement also allows Atletico to bring the 25-year-old back to Spain if they decide against trading him in. "For me, next year the construction is complicated. I understand. We sit down together after this season with all the parties and see what is the best solution.” The agreed Fee was quoted as 6.3 mill by various sources ..... can't really see AM letting him go for that ... wonder how much of a say Toby has in the matter.

From then to now .... class!! Never mind LFC and Lovren can add #YNWA at the end of each message and everything will be ok!!
