The Red and White Stripes are back big time!!
-
Looks like another Saints striker is going to be denied a hatrick by the dubious goals panel. The decision denying Egil his goal against Man U was shocking - and Neville certainly wasn't in a rush to claim it!!
-
Re Phil's remark about PM ing me, my renewal is in process of being done, so maybe no PM's facility for a few days.
-
Dubai Phil is your man for this - Mrs DP comes from there. a few of us went to his wedding and spent a few days in Krakow. As KRG said, Auschwitz has a very big impact on you. We all decided to do it after the wedding, which was a good decision for the reasons KRG mentions. The Salt Mines are worth a visit as well, but be prepared for quite a lot of walking (same applies to Auschwitz as well) Both places can be done via organised day trips by coach and includes a guide. Best book at least the day before. We didn't get to Schindlers factory, but that is much closer to city centre. There is also a big castle near the centre. Depending where you are staying Tram travel is probably cheapest option for getting about locally. A guided tour around the historic areas of the city in a Golf Buggy are quite cheap as well. Food and drink is ridiculously good value. We definitely don't know anything about a certain Gentleman's Club though ;-)

I've frittered away most of the morning watching various compilations of his goals, this one has a few more than just the usual suspects (shame about the squashed video pic though!!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WVEcbvrxHQ0

Did you know Pelle was dance champ at 13?
ericofarabia replied to Singapore Saint's topic in The Saints
Damn .... why didn't he do a quick Samba or Cha Cha Cha after scoring last night!! Would have been so much better than Crouchies Robot!! -
So p!ssed off with the whole England set up over the years, I'd even settle for The League Cup, unless of course the England squad had several Saints players who had publicly pledged their futures wih sfc and we win The Prem as well!!

WTF? Did he really say that? He is even more of a twonk than I already thought. Noodles is true with the "Where was this thread last season? Or should I say the anti Woy comments" At that time it looked like he was heading for a refreshing change of tact, and selecting players on merit for current form, and not for who they play for. But come World Cup time, even though technically SRL was an LFC player,(he obviously hadnt had any benefit of LFC coaching skills by then), he got a few minutes in games where we needed to score goals, yet we got like for like midfield changes each game. To be honest I've tried to blank out the WC matches so I can't remember if Shaw or Judas AL got any starts. And with the "We understand that competition for places at the top clubs is very high and it might be easier for some players to show their worth with England rather than their clubs.” quote shows just how far up the arses of the Big Teams he is , its unbelievable. Doing it week in week out AGAINST those very players who keeping potential England players out of their club team counts for nothing. WAC he is. Next time he wants to roll into town and watch us at SMS, I'd (adopts Kevin Keegan mood of outrage) I'd love it, really love it, if the club said only a few tickets are available in the Itchen stand .... can we have your Credit Card details please.

I was thinking of another word with four letters!!

He can feck off if he think he is gonna a Season Ticket, wined and dined and entertained with free flowing fabulous football at SMS every two weeks!! #twofacedfreeloader

" The sun is shining at Portsmouth after several dark days. Gone are those who sucked this club dry and left it to rebuild from the brink of oblivion. Gone are the agonising days in court when supporters hung on words from the latest administrator. And gone are the club’s debts, the last vestiges of a period when excess and reckless ownership were the norm". The debts may well have gone, but the vast majority of which were most definitely not paid in full. The way the article started I thought it was going to be a classic Factless Allen piece, descibing the weather and mood, setting the scene for a tale of heroics, the likes of which, we could only dream of at SMS. Iain McInnes, the Portsmouth chairman, wrote in the matchday programme: “Our monkey has most definitely been sent packing with a one-way ticket to the zoo So is this the end of TCW, the bell ringing goon?

Wise words indeed.

Looking at making a return to the slopes after a 3 season layoff due to Mrs EoA suffering a very bad leg break (non skiing accident). Will be very tentative and nervy, especially trying to avoid snow boarders on the snow and getting off chair lifts!! Planning mid March, hopefully not too icy and fair weather, plus low season between half term and easter hols. Looking at Val Thorens, or similar in The Three Vallees area. Plenty of long wide meandering reds and blues. Having been there several times we know the areas that would be ok and which to avoid, depending on Mrs EoA's prowess and confidence, although I'll probably be more nervous than her!! In the meanwhile I've been making do with a couple of hours at The Dubai Ski Dome every other month. What could be better when its 46c in August than to have a couple of hours skiing then pop off for sunset and a few beers on the beach

Ha Ha ....... nice to see Egil stirring it up!! Which reminds me, does the bearded clam mention his part in United's hilarious 6-3 defeat at The Dell? Getting himself sent off with two bookings in the first 30 mins? 1st one was a trademark Man U one for arguing with the ref, 2nd one a trademark Keane over the top tackle. Or how he showed a distinct lack of class and respect for SFC and it's fans after Man U effectively sent us down in the last game of the season, goading fans with a thumbs down sign and big grin? Loved the prawn sarnie rant at the Plastic Man U fans though!!
-
Eric's of The World unite against Sky etc!! Won't be able to see the Man U game now due to work. Ironically if they'd move the Arsenal game to a Mon instead of leaving it mid week I would have been able to see that game, but as it hasn't changed I'm screwed on that one as well.

We are playing against ourselves? ;-)

.... and in other news Bears really do sh!t in the woods.

Quite a classic, even for that dumbass - 39 "Paragraphs". 37 of them contain 1 sentence, 1 contains 2 sentences, and 1 contains a mighty 3 sentences, although to put it into perspective, 2 of those sentences were contained in a quote from The WHU Chairman David Gold!! Nice to see they shaved off nearly 700,000 quid off what they owed by renegotiating the already twice renegotiated dues owed to former players etc. They must be so proud. WALOB's

No changes ... you can all stop wetting your knickers now!!

At least now he can speak English, he'll understand it ;-)
-
Even to this day, if I see one, I just have to stick it on my tongue!!
-
No point in booing, it''s not like booing a player each time he gets the ball, that won't be happening, so I'm all for "Who the f**k is Pochettino" each time if bothers to get off the bench!!
