Apart from surprisingly standing his ground on the pen decision, and not giving us a couple of free kicks when Mane dived, (yet fell for virtually every single Chelsea fall), he was an all round crock of sh!te. Whistle Happy at the slightest contact to a Chelsea player, Pelle wasn't allowed within 2 feet of a defender without a foul being given FFS, it got to the stage where Chelsea were expecting a free kick at every challenge and cried like b!tches when then didn't get one. I think Fabregas was looking for the Pen, but have seen them given for less, but if the coooonts didn't keep diving they may have been awarded it. Our defence was magnificent in not lunging into tackles, knowing a Pen was always the likely outcome.

JWP's delivery was a bit erratic today as well!!

The continuing debacle at Anfield is one of the highlights of the season for me. How badly does Brenda now rate AL if he can't even get a minute of game time in a MUST WIN situation and everybody playing like total knobs? Probably the last CL (non) appearance for AL ... do you get excited watching the mighty Liverpool team from the bench, the stuff dreams are made of, was it really worth it? I guess your bank manager will say Yes, so that is all that matters then. Despite all of Lovren's @YNWA hashtags he has become one of the most disliked players at Anfield on message boards. OK not the best barometer to use (if anything like here!!) but you'll not get an ounce of sympathy from any Saints fans, and the pair of them will have to hope that Brenda doesn't pick them at St Mary's, although an early Sun KO may result in a less vitriolic homecoming. Still feel sorry for SRL at the way he has been treated by Brenda. Not picked for ages and then not enough game time to get up to speed and playing in a team devoid of anybody to link up with or playing tactics to suit his strengths. Spiritual home coming, sadly more like elephants graveyard.
