Just to update anyone interested, i had a reply from David Luker with regards to flights to newcastle for the carlisle game, he said will investigate the matter with flybe & get back to me. You can get a flight to newcastle on the morning of the game but cant get back untill the next morning. I am suggesting to David for the club to organize with flybe a return flight the same day & coaches to the match at cost. Just a point on the Itchen North, i raised a point with David saying the club is missing a trick with not opening blocks 1,2 & 3. The atmosphere created in these blocks must drown out the opposition fans & at the same time give the team a sometimes needed boost. Not had a reply on that one yet...

Its 50 miles from newcastle to carlisle, same sort of distance to brighton, perhaps the club could arrange coaches from the airport. As money isn't so much an issue these days this could be done by the club at cost, they done this at hull a couple of years ago at cost so why not again.

Well iv just emailed him so thats one more on the list. I also mentioned about the club running a plane to Newcastle for the Carlisle game 26th sept, they did do a similar thing for the Hull game 2 or 3 years ago which was a success. Perhaps a few more emails may persuade him to at least think about it.

Some of the comments posted on here make me cringe, what gives you the right to judge people when to be honest you aint gotta clue. I was there along with 100 others having a few beers singing a few songs celebrating a life of a fellow lad, there was no trouble no intimidation no bullying just lads on a jolly having a good day out in the sun. Now if some of you got a problem with that then i think you need to take a look at yourself in the mirror & have a word.

Not sure if its been covered or not but has anyone got any idea on next season ticket pricing, be nice to price it sensibly & get the ground full. Maybe under 16 years a big reduction after all these are the future of the club... It aint gonna be easy for a kid going to school following a league 1 club but if we can get them in the ground just maybe they will get hooked like the rest of us sorry lot.

Several times in recent games he has picked the ball up with plenty of space to run into once he confronts a player he will do a few step overs lose possession or cross the ball behind everyone, if wotte thinks smith is world class then i should get a game. It makes no difference, had we finished 11 points clear of relegation this season then the 10 point deduction would be next season as that is now virtually impossible the 10 would be this season. Think about it, if clubs that are mid table & nothing to play for 10 points either way would not effect them so thats why we will get it now.

I did mention this last wk in a thread,Rod is football mad & now saints do have a connection with Rod- when WGS was manager we did train on his grounds. WGS is of course best of friends with rod & not having the best of times in Scotland, so you never know could be ****e but a nice thought anyway...........
