Why ?
-
Post on a different thread re Salz suggested they had 5mil 'ready', as a big fan of the club, suggested he has a bit of poke, moving in city circles and aware administration has been on the cards, would have thought he would have been proactive in capitalising on the opportunity to buy/buy into his club instead of trying to nick it.

I could be their Ali Dia

Should probably read...no one else 'needed' to pay him more than we did

Help with what FC ? is he a alcoholic ? or is he simply a very wealthy man with alot of time on his hands with an active social life ? the latter does not require help, simply understand, not only the law of the land but what all of us know that driving whilst impaired by drink can cause death to others, up the charges for all drink drivers to attempted murder.
-
Is this a 'morning after' incident or a late night early hours incident ?
-
Is this todays update from Fry or just responding to recent events to Sky ?
-
It would be fair to assume he had a load of fold in his pocket with a taxi rank nearby, drink drivers really are pond life.

If You're Still Looking For a Scapegoat....
INFLUENCED.COM replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
The Azazel goat (pronounced in Hebrew as aw-zah-zale), translated as scapegoat, was one of two goats chosen for a ceremony on the Day of Atonement. The first goat was sacrificed, while the scapegoat was taken out into the wilderness and released. The original meaning of scapegoat was escape goat, the goat that was allowed to "escape" with its life. The accepted modern meaning of scapegoat, someone who is punished for the wrongs of others. -
Yeah because Oliver Cromwell was a stand up guy !! but we were asked not to go over villains of the past on this thread so stay on topic

How many would be prepared to if it came with a disclaimer stating not refundable in event of 'going out of business' ? a campaign to go with it targeting the amount needed to be sold in order we keep going -
This thread is to thank Crouch for what he is doing at the moment and should remain just that imo, many threads have descending into the politics of who did what and when but right now we have a man, despite his losses, putting up MORE money in order the man in control of our clubs destiny has MORE time to find a buyer, I am grateful, if it is structured as a loan, good, interest is something he should be entitled to, is it secured ? for his sake I hope so, is there an ulterior motive i.e involvement in any new set up ? a set up may not exsist without him so there is an entitlement there, again imo

He is putting to shame all those other affluent people who, it has been suggested, stated they would not let the club die.

yuppie flats ? have you seen the northam ghetto recently ? yuppie very 80's your exile has been in place that long has it ?
-
Although post relegation you may not choose to deal with the said creditors, if you already do and have done for some time you tend to find yourself in a similar position to the club, they have you by the bowlocks but your waiting for the upturn to **** off to someone who has finally sat off of their hands
-
That was just a poke in the whiskers, as you well know ! get over it you soppy ....
-
Cared about what ?

Thought it was 15% pre tax profits of over 1 billion ?

Barclays posted some positive results so don't know if thats strictly true
-
Its diffcult to get the south interested in our plight at the minute let alone 'the world'
-
When you hear of 8 mil banded about with a contingent consortium having 5m, as a creditor you would have to think the clubs worth more, still if everything falls on its arse its easy to blame Barclays et al for no deal.

Straw clutching...last Friday a large Rolls Royce at the cowerds pub DG11 Reg No. saw the guy getting into it he was with a suit who was driving a peugeot or someting like that, they consulted a road map before leaving the car park, a woman was driving the rolls. Not ITK info just an observation, tried to discuss with my partner as we walked the dog around the common, it was pointless as always.
