From what I know he was part of the many cut backs made, did spite play a part in it ? who knows, however, Woggy I am told, was considering retirement the following season so would have thought it, in the big scheme of things, reasonable for him to have seen the season out and had a bit of a do due to time served etc...were his employers aware of his intentions...again who knows ? Woggy was told frequently by LC to consider himself n gardening leave and he'll be back soon, that soon has turnt into a considerable period of time.
