Any excuse/reason to avoid the points deduction is welcome

Saturdays game will not offer a true indication as too many factors involved but hopefully any of those that have stayed away for reasons other than financial WILL return. What better way to make investment more attractive than c.25k week on week, ambitious but lets see, we were told, by some, at least 5k were staying away due to the board so lets see how close their assumptions were

You would think Lowe investigated the loophole that may exist to avoid the penalty, do the FA and Football League work to the same guidelines and would Lowes time at the FA have any influence over a decision ?

Small local suppliers, experiencing such a knock could turn them over...which seems lost on some who continue to call for admin, being a supplier to SFC would have been listed on your company profile, sadly, now you'd just be worried about your exposure
-
Difficult to qualify that, surely would depend on where those 3 years were spent.
-
Thats a bit harsh on Dalek
-
Not a slight on you as an individual or your profession as a whole but there seems to be plenty out there, would be difficult for Lowe to 'get away' with that in this instance, that said, again, where there's a will there's a way
-
All public and private service providers should offer forces discounts imo
-
Where there's a will there's a way, Lowe knew prior to his return the potential for administration and would have had a contingent in that event, even if that what spouted by Mark Dennis is untrue, the fact, as outlined in this thread, that it can be achieved would no doubt be the course Lowe would take in order he remains in control. I'm sure he could raise the required funds to ensure the assets sold were not sold at "undervalue".

If you brought on the banking crisis then you should feel affronted, if you did not, don't worry. Don't think it would be wise for us to follow the over sensitive route others take, where would it stop ?

In an attempt to contribute to saving the planet I think it should be an offence to waste words, so everyone has to get to the point as quickly as is possible, then noone would be offended by having the obvious pointed out, like this scenario, if we were restricted with words the lady would of just said "you got to buy 2 to get 1 free" call terminated, to the point, no need to fanny it up, I think the world would be a better place if we were allowed to operate like this on a daily basis, bit like those sales calls you get when they say "can I speak to the owner of the company" no sooner do you say he's not available they've put the phone down, no goodbye, kiss my arse nothing, the only words that can be wasted are if after pointing out the obvious you say 'dinlo' or something similar. Pleasantville imo -
Ample opportunity to put up, sadly, maybe for us all, never did and probably never will

The monetary value is 4k, lets wait till next year to see if it is cheaper then we will all know. Get your arse over here and get involved with us....you never know you just might enjoy it, last I read Manager was still up for grabs !!! -
A white knight coming along is never something I held out hope for but agree with the rest of your post, it ******es me off that the likes of Falsehope put themselves out there as the white knight, it ******es me off when we hear that wealthy fans in the public eye are alleged to have said they will not let this club die, however, we remain on the cusp

Playing there will mean more to me than it did to John Bon Jovi or Elton John, by putting more of my money into my club, I, hopefully, will be one of the 'chosen few'. Its only right and proper that during these very difficult times alternative revenue streams are created, many corporations have diversified in attempts to create the same, so why not SFC, our need is as great as any's. -

Can't agree with this, irrespective of my position.

"further demise of our club"
-
Ive been here for the last ten years and more than ten before that, the inference the PLC holds anyone but idiots back suggests you believe all that have purchased a large number of shares to be just that, remind me when Crouch bought his ? how much did he pay per share ? Someone with a sizeable shareholding can bring about change, as we have witnessed with both Wilde and Crouch, although that change led to the further demise of our club, if those with SOME money after initial purchase of shares can bring a further cash injection to the club, by whatever source, then due to the progress their money could create they would see a quicker return on their investment, there is a sizeable difference in the sky money alone between Championship and League 1
-
That rebuilding will need someone with a sizeable pot so must refer to those with SOME money will not be able to achieve this. I listened to Barry Hearn today speaking about expectation of some Orient fans, now with his poke and contacts etc.. I would have expectation if he were Chair of our club but it was clear he was happy to be at the helm of a club that simply offered families a nice day out to watch a bit of football, few fans settle for that and expect investment that leads to progress, if a high profile businessman like him is not prepared to throw money at it how will we attract someone in this climate ?
-
not for people who have only got SOME money
-
So why would they be getting involved ? if not to look for a return on their investment
-
Isn't it the police that do that hence the charge ?
