In 19's defence, the inference from an earlier post on this subject was that someone had put up 400k to stage this game, we now know this is not the case, however, most would question that cost. The Loan made is very much appreciated I am sure by us fans and is only right and proper the man gets his money back with interest, if this game contributes to the loan repayment then so be it but lets be clear about the reason for the game, if prior to the Burnley game the lender said to the fans... we either go pop now or I lend SFC 400k to continue trading but I want it back and a number of events will be arranged at SMS to facilitate this so can I count on your attendance....would we have said no ?

You mean to raise money to pay back the 'local businessman' who made a 400k loan prior to the Burnley game, why does anyone need to raise money ? surely its bolted onto the debts of SFC which will be assumed by the new owners

If we can be clear, after reading another thread, the local business man has not underwritten this game to the tune of 400k, he wrote a cheque for 400k before the burnley game to keep the company trading, this money has to be paid back to him and so this is one of the ways of facilitating that repayment...yes ?

Was he really expecting 20k to go ? I know programmes, food, drinks etc will generate further revenue on the day but, still seems very ambitious imo

Manipulating fans is one thing, has/will his art of manipulation work on Fry ? if that indeed is all he is about, look, if he is playing a game and we, SFC, lose out whether by investor or further point deduction then i'm all for beating the photocopier cartridge right out of him, however, what i'm struggling to reconcile is Fry will have knowledge of him and his previous conduct so maybe, just maybe he's found a money man this time, who knows ?

Is this place one of the proper channels you speak of ? you may be right in that some want or would rather hear information first, does that mean their self interest is primary ? the fact that they share it on here imo conflicts with that, if a poster said something like "met with a member of the consortium last night, was very interesting but can't say no more, wait and see, Friday is the day..." then that would be (ock like behaviour but if they say "spoke to MJ and blah blah blah" then I interpret that as simply sharing information with those who have an interest.

I was at the forum match didn't see MJ(could have walked straight past him for all I knew) but aware today from Nickh's post he was there which ties in with my post on a different thread re St David, however, fail to understand why people would be 'grovelling up to him' ? do you fawn over people and therefore assume others do the same, a needless pop at other posters imo Stanley, grovelling, braindead..necessary ?

So why have they not ? is it because for every Hour Fry 'works' on this its more in the coffers for him & Begbies ? has MJ proved genuine in this instance by way of funds ? if MJ s a herring is he on a kick back from Begbies/Fry, I see on Fry's portfolio one of his specialist fields is Printing ? maybe the relationship goes deeper ?

Don't know if i'm talking out of school and equally was not told to keep it to myself but...St David told me one had walked away, his proportion equated to 2mil and were trying to get another on board or convince the guy to come back to the table, his reasons for walking away seemd 'silly' to me based on the level of investment

Spoke with a guy from SMS(sorry don't know his name, in a blue suit in reception) said that they are looking for feedback as to how they can enhance the experience further, i.e pre-match meal, access to players lounge afterwards, enter through players entrance etc...

FF, what I fail to understand is if a load of heads on here know these guys and assume they are tyre kickers etc...surely Fry, a professional at this, will have done some homework, if not then I believe delays, wasted monies etc.. are down to him
