After having a £5000 kitchen installed, I thought it looked very plain and boring. So I decided to liven it up with some permanent markers. I woke up especially early before everyone else got up and drew on the cupboards, the work surface and inside the cupboard. I was well chuffed. My parents weren't and I can remember getting smacked very hard for several weeks.

hmmmmm. Very difficult to decide between the unlimited web/extra mins. I'm thinking of using my mobile instead of using the house phone - so the extra minute would be better from that aspect. However I think the unlimited web is a better deal.

In my area no one uses T-mobile because it is rubbish signal wise. It amazes me that Orange haven't gone bust as I don't know anyone with Orange who doesn't think their signal is crap and that they're ridiculously expensive.

I've been with O2 for about 8 years now on various contracts. It ****es me off a bit when you phone them up and they offer you nothing new and no discounts. I've just spoken to them and the lady I spoke to said that they've got a department especially for matching offers from other companies or doing something like that. I've been looking at going onto one of the simplicity contracts where you can get 600 mins, 1000 texts and a bolt on for £19.58 a month. The bolt ons range, but I think I'd go for the extra 200 anytime minutes making it 800 mins and 1000 texts. I know I'm a tight arse because it is a cracking deal. Has anyone managed to get better deals out of phone service providers, if so, what are the best tactics? I'm thinking about phoning Vodafone to see what they can offer as an alternative.

Fortunately it is a job where I stand no risk of being made redundant. I am able to pay for the place based on my current wages and with a tennant quite comfortably. I think now is the best time to buy for me, with property prices still falling or not. Just a bit of a scary thing to get into.
