Man who attacked robber is freed on appeal
thesaint sfc replied to INFLUENCED.COM's topic in The Lounge
He fit the intruder who had fled the property so hard over the head with a cricket bat that the cricket bat broke into 3 pieces, causing brain damage to him. If you don't do time for that our justice system is f*cked. -

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1235782/Millionaire-Munir-Hussain-fought-knife-wielding-burglar-jailed-intruder-let-off.html Have a read through that and I think you'll be more inclined to agree with me. -

If this had happened in his house, not when the robber was running away I honestly think it would be a whole different story. You can't dish out punishment as you please. Fair enough if it was self defence, but it wasn't. He took the law into his own hands. IMO he should have done time for it, no where near as long as he got though. -
I've always been quite fond of Milka and just realised that is made by Krafts.....

If you're not under contract with them on your current package I would have thought you could just cancel and start a fresh once you've moved into your new place. I've heard of other people do this.

The iphone is so good that it's hard to even have the strength to explain why you should get one, because there are so many reasons. I honestly don't think you could possibly be disappointed with it. It is so fast, it does everything instantly. There are millions of apps available for it that do everything you could possibly imagine, and more. I'm currently using remote desktop on it to login to my laptop at home for instance. It has media sharing so you can view pretty much any files that are on your computer, from your phone, using 3g or wifi so you don't even need to be on the same network as it. The touch screen is so responsive that you really can't compare it to anything else that you have ever used that has a touch screen. All the best generic apps are free, the other best ones are downloaded so much that they're only 59p each. One app could completely transform the way you use your mobile. I find myself sat in front of my laptop sometimes using facebook on my iphone instead of the laptop. The app for facebook has been developed specifically for facebook. You login on google chrome and you don't get the user friendly buttons and it isn't as well layed out. I have the same with googlemail and a number of other apps like the trainline app. I'm stood at the train station, not looking at the train time displays, but looking at my phone as its much much quicker! It has a search function so that you can find anything on your phone instantly as it is all indexed. Then there is mobileme which I haven't even tried yet which is supposedly the most important app for anyone involved in a business.

anyone who uses the words 'iphone' and 'crap' in the same sentence should be put down. Bought mine in CPW for £450. Best £450 I've ever spent.

Toshiba laptops do seem to be pretty good, but personally I don't rate them as good as Dell. I've always been a Dell man and then I started working at a Dell reseller and it amazes me how few go wrong considering the amount that we sell. Their support, despite being based in India, is first class and they will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. They are a much bigger manufacturer of laptops than Toshiba, thus if you were to break a hinge or something like that in years to come on a Dell laptop it would be easily replaced, on a Toshiba you would probably need to import something from the US costing hundreds of pounds. Recently we had a 17" toshiba laptop that was 2 years old and the customer had closed the lid on something. The hinge had snapped and needed to be replaced and Topaz (Toshiba parts specialist) had ceased to stock or manufacturer them. There were also none available in America, so for a £15 hinge, the customer had to replace her entire laptop. As someone who takes laptops to bits quite often, Dell are the easiest to dismantle and put back together. I wouldn't consider any laptop other than a Dell for my personal use. Sometimes pricing on Dell Laptops are very steep so I would have to choose another manufacturer for a friend or something and Toshiba wouldn't be far down on my list. If you have the opportunity to buy a Dell at a good price, go for it! I honestly don't think you will regret it.

I've sold shed loads of them and not had any issues at all. The one thing I do think is very disappointing on them is the connectivity. 3 USB ports, no HDMI or firewire. Very poor in todays standards, but depending on how cheap and whether the connectivity meets your requirements, go for it! The other thing is that around where the touchpad is, its glossy black so it shows all your fingerprints. Sometimes we've had in silver ones, so if possible I'd recommend you buy one of them.

This fellah's house the other month - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serge_Dassault We setup one or two a month. We do it on behalf of another company and charge them for the work we do. They're part of a big franchise that operates in America. There are simulators all over the place. Can't believe that a golf club can afford to spend that much money on a golf simulator. Most of the golf clubs around where I live seem to struggle to stay running but there are obviously some very successful ones in other countries. We've also set quite a few up for American Express in their headquarters in London. Also a scaffolding company in London in their staff room.

This is an enclosure, not a computer case unfortunately. The enclosure is what you put a computer in to prevent people tampering with them. Bit like a money tin with a key to lock it, big enough to fit a computer in! The company I work for builds golf simulators costing £300,000+ and believe it or not the PC's we build to go with them are just left stood in a cabinet that anyone could get access to.
