The media can destroy people's lives I read an article a couple of months back regarding the 5 prostitutes murdered in Ipswich. The initial investigation centered around a local man who worked in a supermarket, and apparantely knew 3 of the victims. His whole life was on the front pages of the tabloids, we all assumed this man was a sick pervert As it turns out, he was totally innocent, however his life was destroyed by the media stories. There was never any front page apologies to the guy, and he's now left to repair his life, whilst being treated for severe depression and anxiety
