because MoN is the only name spouted about that could get us out of L1, out of the champ and keep us in the prem. According to the OS statement after AP sacking it was about getting the right management to do the above and not chopping and changing manager again.

i'll extend what the poster you quoted said....get us promoted from L1, get us promoted from Champ and keep us in Prem. Of those names that have been mentioned, MoN is the only one that could do it all. Which is how i read the OS statement after AP sacking.

riiight! couple of things wrong with that. One being that knowing NC and his short history with us there is no way in hell he would go to the Sun to discuss anything, let alone the new manager. Yet more NC bashing by making out the MoN thing. Secondly, if we had been given permission to talk to Adkins, we would have heard about it by now.
