So i am at Winchester Xmas market on Sunday, with the familly, mostly trying to convince the Mrs. that we dont need that and we cant afford that, while the kids want fudge, a drink, candy floss..... and then i bump into an old mate, back in the days of 89/early 90, we used to travel to loads of away games, really good time times, much better than it is today, anyway, thats another story. So a pleasant chat with him, he is with his mrs. and some other bloke and his bit, I sort of recognise this other guy but think he is just an Eastleigh face etc. So pleasantries exchanged, we make our way on with our own days. This afternoon, chatting to a customer that knows Andy (my old mate) and said that I bumped into him on Sunday and he said, "oh, was he with Barnard?", "who?" I says, "Lee Barnard, they're mates, he was out with him in Winch on Sunday". My old brain videotape rewinds and then Eureka! yeah, that was wehy i recognised him, flaming Lee Barnard, didnt even have a clue! I guess I am not the only one? Could have been worse I suppose, at least Barnard has been hidden for a good 2/3 years, if it had been SRL or KK or even MLT, that would have been bad!

Some things surprise me; Helicopters crashing into pubs Fernando Torres scoring J Rodrequez playing for England But Tom Daley being gay? Not really. But why is there so much publicity about it, as if anyone cares (enough to start a thread about it).... zzzzz

FFS, we want to win things, as fans, trips to finals are few and far between, and this was a definite chance, and we did not go for it. Why? So Lambert is not tired on Saturday, do me a favour! Our first team would have won here tonight, just don't buy this second string cup team, it's ****** and we will end up in 8th or 9th (which is not bad) and people will say "well done Southampton......" But that is all we will have to show for it, can't wait for the commemorative T Shirt, Merse and Lawro being patronisingly kind about us. Can tell my grand kids about how we finishe 8th one year
