  1. I think its naive in the fact that these days we are talking about mega money, him not moving to Liverpool because his wife might not fancy it and they can offer him 20/30 grand a week more is not much of an incentive? Firstly, Le Tissiers Mrs came from Guernsey, different mentality to Lallana's mrs no doubt, I would imagine that Mrs L would be happy to support her husband, but granted, we dont actually know that. But the money thing; Matty told once after asking him about moves to Spurs, Chelsea and Blackburn, "if you cant live on 10K a week (his wage (with the add ons) despite what the book says!), then you have a problem", true, but the difference in money now is not relative to back then, it is truely life making opportunities. If lallana stays with us great, but he'd be an idiot to miss the opportunity, just like matty, who says he doesnt regret anything, I dont believe him though, deep down he could have been perceived as great as Cantona and Gascoigne, we all know that he was better, but the outside world wont believe it becuase he played for us. Same thing with Lallana, good luck to him, he's done his duty here, we cant complain.
  2. cant have it both ways, do you think Rovers (fans) were happy with £1m for Rickie, or Burnley's for Jay Rod, we call Liverpool arrogant for offering less that what we think he is worth (tbf - I wouldnt pay more than £20m for a 10 goal a season player in midfiled), yet we do the same down the pecking order, look what we paid for Puncheon!
  3. Congratulations you have won the 'the most naive post of the thread' award,
  4. oh dear, you have excelled yourself with this post.
  5. Jesus, really why would you say such an idiotic thing, I mean I know you are in Austria but people are allowed to not rate black or Asian players without being racists. Can you really justify such a claim or is just the usual standard of trolling ?
  6. People like you are what is so great about this place.
  7. Absolute crap. High carb full of saturated fat, probably 70%, nah. Maybe you're one of those lifters that go to the gym, talk with your mates for 90% of the time and lift three or four sets! maybe a jog too! You see a lot of fat BB's mate, big muscles and bigger stomach. do you really think that athletes all tuck into burger and chips after their work outs...lol
  8. He was useless, even when he was alright. Div 1 player proved by the fact that was the last time he scored, Dagenham wasn't it? nice guy though.
  9. To be serious, a BK after a games is seriously **** poor recovery food. I thought players these days were almost banned from eating that kind of crap.. You would argue, what's the harm, one burger? Others might say that one of our greatest players ever finished 5 years early because of a crap diet, whilst professionals like Giggs and Philips are playing into their forties. one burger won't make much of a difference, but there's a fine line of difference at the top level.
  10. lol, you do try but you are so ****ing useless at it.
  11. Have to say that while not a big fan of Turkish and Barry, who seem to spout negativity for negativity's sake, at least they wouldn't have come up with this (and their absence on this thread leaves you out in the cold). This is just prize turkey material, a bit like your Gazaniga thread before the City game. Oh dear GS, everyone's laughing at you now....
  12. I see you havent contributed back to the thread you started about possession.... why is that i wonder?
  13. yeah, reckon that is her, well spotted (way too much time on ya hands btw)
  14. unbelieveable - when you said the A League, I stupidly thought you meant the league that we are in, otherwise what would be the relevance? But you mean the Sunday league Australian League. Otherwise you could have quoted the following from the article In this season’s Premier League, the team with more possession has won 55.3 per cent of games. In the Champions League, the figure is 66.7 per cent. That would seem to indicate a strong correlation between keeping the ball and winning the game. I have highlighted something for you.
  15. heres an idea, when you come out with these 'stats' - can you provide a link or a reference please. Then we can see that you are not making this up... otherwise people might think that you are just full of **** (I wouldnt know why they would think that..) so how about starting with the above stat please? (cue no response)
  16. I didnt think he offered much under Adkins, in fact I wondered if he was any better than Dean Hammond, But the back end of last season and this season has seen his contribution make the difference. We certainly have an abundance of decent midfielders, keep them, get a goalie, CB and striker and we'll be alright again next season.
  17. This one gets me, just proves what a cretin you are. Blatant trolling about something you have no idea about, you don't go to games, so to judge attendances......
  18. classic mate, ****ing classic.
  19. Good call. Was there for that. Did Ronnie Eckland play in that game? Seem to remember him and Matty playing so well against Coventry away one year.
  20. Franny Benali at Wimbledon
  21. I am amazed that any of you lot take this seriously..... For a club like us, it only takes a player to tie his laces in under three seconds for him to be linked with a big move, cannot why this surprises and annoys some of you?

    Sir Les Reed

still not good enough for some people though. Apparently he has to justify his role for this achievement to be worthwhile.
