Rickie Lambert... He plays for Liverpool don't you know?

Clearly you are one of those that was disappointed his first touch in the game didn't give him a fairytale finish. i guess from your username that you weren't there, but to have his name constantly sung every time he was spotted on the pitch, the warm up, the sub warm up, coming on, went straight at the end but I guess he got the red carpet treatment then too. Just way over the top, pathetic display from some of our fans. -

I am a big fan of. SRL, and don't begrudge him a nice round of applause, even a round of "One Rickie Lambert...." Not that I would join in on that, a clap maybe but not a song. Unfortunately it seemed like most disagreed at Anfield today. ****ING cringeworthy, we were supposed to supporting our team and the biggest song was for an opposition player, ****ing ridiculous, ****ing pathetic and people should think about who they should be singing about.. Just way over the top, bunch of touristy muppets. -

So what's the 'project' now? Staying in the PL? Great, just the same as 15 other teams then.

Yes, like most other teams.

Strange to see you on a thread about something, haven't you got any more ideas for songs? -
Can someone remind me; is this Turkish (after a disastrous copier paper sales meeting) or is it Alpine getting his laptop away before the Austrian Police turn up?
-
AHHH, beat me to it!
-
Thats simply not true, Tim Flowers referred The name Razor to me back then
-
Maybe I was at a different meeting? The one at the Captains Corner as I remember was attended by a very few, namely Nick and Clive, think Al Scarffe was there and Bob Smith ( a really sound guy, still is), maybe Rich Green, bit of an Ugly mob, not sure Perry was too involved back then but might be wrong, I remember it being about 8 of us, discussed the Branfoot issue and came up with the Red card idea that Mattys partly ruined after the Newcastle game on Sky! maybe I'm mistaken, maybe there was another one there, maybe I was just so overjoyed to be part of the saints fans' incrowd and didn't notice anyone else, too impressionable back then, lol. did a bit of a speech myself at Hulse Road against the fat skate Telegraph reporter Robert Hardyman, happy days.

You were there in The Captains Corner? You sure? We're you at Oasis at The Joiners too? Or Nirvana at The Guidhalll?
-
That would be the pony that got us to eighth?
-
So where do you make that assumption? 17th would be an achievement, anything above will be miraculous
-
are you actually being serious about being upper mid table? Have you watched much football? Yoshida lets In goals and Sam can't score them = tough season, 17th would be an achievement with that side.
-
Sorry, what the opposite of innit?
-
ive gaffed up on my grammar, soz.

Yeah, last I looked, what's the issue? It's a valid point, fancy marketing one of your biggest money spinners and show a picture of the other team scoring. It's **** poor, it really is.

This new lot cant get anything right: Just seen the email promoting it and one of the changing banners is a side view along the corporate boxes. Clearly the away team has scored because aside from a few in one of the boxes and some in the seats, everyone else is just sitting there. In the same box they seem to have a saints fan, he has his head in his hands. Actually, its in their PDF brochure as well, oh dear. In all seriousness, its a bit crap when something like this gets through the marketing dept. Would never happened under NC mind!
